Today we address accusations that we cheat when we work.. we actually embraced it! Our school bus conversion floor was giving us a hard time so we decided to go full force with a rented floor scraper and make quick work of it! We also got hit by a rain storm but we aren't mad about it and get the chores done anyway. Thanks for watching and God Bless!

Cassie is always on the go doing a lot of hard work, im surprised she has any time to herself, I certainly couldn't fit in the amount of work she does she is an absolutely fantastic mother and to her family and incredibly good with all the animals 🙏 I love you guys...xxxx

Lots of popsicles for Ranger.With my kids I was told about mixing the jello powder with hot water and drinking it warm. Feels so good on sore throats.
That was a very smart move! With the heat, it cut the danger of overheating, although it was still an oven!!!

I happen to be sitting at a table when you posted this. How cool. That’s not cheating that’s alternative thinking. Nice on the scraper. I was going to ask if Ransom is feeling well. He isn’t as cherry as he normally is. It looks a lot cleaner than yesterday’s work. Shelby is just like our big dog. Scared of rain and loud noises. The animals look to be happy. You could put a regular diesel heater in the back like most trucks and rvs have,they dont take up much space and only need the exhaust outside but can be fully mounted undernearh with just heat tubes coming in..

Gary you're not cheated, you're using your head . Just the fact you take time with your son, he learning a wealth of information he will use for a life time, knowing that is trying all kinds of stuff with you there to make sure he is safe. My Dad always told me there is no such thing as a dumb question. Don't be afraid to ask, you are always going to learn something. Your children are so lucky to have both you and Cassie. The love, understanding, caring show every time with just the looks, you don't need to say anything. They all have their own personality and are turning into very loving and caring people With all the trouble in the world today, it is very refreshing to see. Gary, as you were doing the bus talking about leaks my dad drove School Bus for 40 years. During that time he had one that leaked, it took
awhile to find where the leak was, it was coming out about the middle inside, but outside it had a place toward the front, running back a rail to the place that was driping out
It took almost a week before he found it, Yeah.

For living quarters so to speak, sofa/ beds, use ones like they do in RVs. Its easier than placing full time beds and also allows for comfort as a sofa. Generally the back flips over the seat and makes a bed platform. The matress/ cushion is already in place for the bed when its in the sofa position. Hope that makes sense, I'm not real good explaining about these RV sofa/ beds.and they are lighter in weight than a devan or bed.

Work smarter , easier and faster. Doesnt matter how the job is done as long as its done. My husband and I used a grinder on the old cast irons we reused.
That tool definitely makes life a lot easier. I would’ve never dreamed that had anything like that.

You could haul it by hand but a power tool is just uses brains over brawn.

I'm all in with using power tools. Just not on old cast iron. Was wondering if they made a power scraper. You answered that question. Now a powered floor sander might be something to rent, although you may need smaller ones, or even a flap sander for the heavy rust areas. There are many floor sanders. Belt, drum, circular, orbital/oscillating, and blaster types. Only one I've ever used was on a wood floor in a house, and it was a circular, buffer style. mIn your instance, with a steel floor, I'd likely opt for a belt or drum sander, for the largest areas of the bus. Flap wheel and possibly a dremel for the edges and corners.
Watch that possible strep thing. It has a tendency to run through everyone in the family. Hope he feels better soon!
We will get all the rust up and any loose materials before priming with a rust inhibitor and sealing off the old holes before insulation
