herirulez this is a binary code so it is ×2 that is 1×2=2×2=4×2=8 which is also 8421.

2 power 0 is 1 2 power 1 is 2 2 pwer 2 is 4 2 power 3 is 8 and keeps going but because there r 4 bits only the power will be from 0 to 3 ich u count from 0 to 3 ull find 4 digits wich is number of bits thats why the rule says number of bits is X then we count from 0 to X-1
