- I’ve been using the brakes for a few weeks now and while I’m very impressed with the power, lever feel and value of the ultimate kit, I have found one issue which other outlets haven’t touched on yet

What nm should the bolts be at if they are not tight enough?
Same issue here, don’t know if it’s greese or if it’s leaking… However, hate sram now! 😂
They are powerfull, but I've seen @DaleStone talk about the lever feel as it being very stiff and loses power due to fatiguing of his fingers, and that it's much stiffer than the code rsc lever by about 60%. Anyways, good video. Happy Shredding :)
Thanks for the feedback. I have an old finger injury and the lever pressure was a concern to me too. I’m happy to say I have had no concern with fatigue. I expect lever position on the bar and angle play into this too.
Me neither
The rotors are 2mm thick not 2.3mm as you said
@@knott4me561thank you for the correction
Dale stone is a bad dragger based on his videos, Pure Sram hate from the guy forever, As soon as i heard he was testing them, i knew instantly he would find something not to like.
Many people incl myself have found the mavens to cause less hand fatigue.
I still see mineral oil sipping out from the seam in the back?
I have seen online other people complain about this issue too
Its assembly compound dissapears after a ride or 2 there's now a warning on sram
I just went for a very dusty ride and there’s moist dust along the mated surfaces. The brake power and lever feel is still great, but I will be following up with my LBS
I was concerned about this aswell but seems to be assembly grease.
@@MrSupermugen Ah, interesting. From what I saw at the bike store, when the tech was squeezing the lever it appeared to be liquid coming out of the mating line between the two sides of the caliper.
