Great seeing the IFS of a tundra vs a solid front axel Jeep. I've always been a jeep guy, but i'm building my first tundra, it's good to see the truck get flexy!
Pros vs cons for sure. I’m happy with its abilities and can still carry a tonnnn of weight and tow a trailer. Another video coming out this weekend with some more flexing 👍👍
Just missed you out there. I was in Fish Creek two weekends ago.The flower bloom is going nuts.Just got back from Hawk Canyon today for the weekend. We've camped on those bluffs by the off road parks a few times now. Cool views. I ordered the 200 wt Renogy Solar kit we talked about. Waiting for it to arrive to install. Cool video, love all those spots.
Just looked that area up. Never been to Hawk. Is it all street legal vehicle area? Looking at it on sat map and seems pretty rad. Awesome about renogy👍. Thanks for checking out another video.
@@prospectoverland Yea Hawk Canyon is street legal only and it's pretty awesome. Been camping in there for a couple years now. We saw Brad and Marco there a couple months ago with the owners of Patriot Campers. Talked to them for a few, super cool.
I like you guys, so I subscribed. Need to get back to Anza, lived in Borrego Springs back in the 80's and use to go down to the Anza in the evening and watch the glow fade.

Man this truck is bad to the bone. Just got a quote back to have a fox 2.5 set up done on mine and don't look like I'll be getting it any time soon. I'll just lust over this setup until the time is right !
Haha no worries. Method’s 18” +25 offset, with 37” BFG km3. Icon 3.0 coil-overs with their billet upper control arm. Spindle gusset kit from Total Chaos. Body Mount Chop plates from Total Chaos also. Let me know if you got any other questions.
Technically, correct. But for ease of making sense of who he is and not just some random jeep guy I met on the side of the road broken down, that’s who he is hahaha.
Did I hear you say you had lockers? If so, is there a video about them? If not, if you don’t mind me asking, who installed them and what was the cost? Thank you.
Yes you did. Rear only.... Eaton E Locker with Nitro 5.29 gears. Pro Gear in San Diego. They work amazing and they did an perfect install job. Zero gear noise you hear people complaining about. And cost, I don't remember exactly because I bough the gears through Nitro Gear online, then Pro Gear order the locker and did the install so I forget which price was what. Shoot them a call, they will get ya a quote.
What type of camper is that??? And size of bed on yr crew cab?
It’s a Go Fast Camper. And it’s a 5 1/2 ft bed.
I have since switch to a Four Wheel Camper Project M.
Been there on a dirt bike. Diablo drop off is a much steeper section in person! Not too difficult but always loose and silty make it slick
For sure, cameras never do any terrain justice. Fun spot though.

Howdy from across the NV border. Yeah that drop off is nothing with lockers. Your challenges will be in width restricted areas. Nice rig
Thanks for checking it out. Yeah I can for see the width being a problem sooner than traction.

Thanks for the subscription. Appreciate it.
Yes can’t wait for desert season to come around again.
Nice setup! What sliders are you running?
Thanks! Victory 4x4. Powder coating was horrible. Order them raw and get it done on your own.
To the max!
💪
What offline map do you use on your iPad?
Onx and Gaia….Mostly Gaia though and even a little Google Maps with the areas pre downloaded.
Is there a bypass for the Diablo drop off?
Kinda….I know there is a more mild way around the south edge but haven’t looked myself at it. I just see vehicles go up and down over that way.
I'm gonna guess that the husband is a Sagittarius and the wife is a Libra.
Those are wrong guesses but I don’t get what it’s implying 🤷♂️

Haha Thank you!!! Been a long time coming building it up. Those are some nice shocks too you are looking at.
Wow that 4x4 park looked fun!
We too love the one nighters. Helps force us to think and pack small. LoL.

Yeah lots of crazy things to do in there if someone has a true rock crawler it would be a lot of fun. Thanks for checking this video out too, cheers.

Is this a recent trip? Diablo Dropoff was washed out when we were there back in November.
Yeah it was just last weekend.

Anza/Oco are such cool areas to explore!
For sure! I grew up in the state park with bikes and side by sides. So I’m loving all the new area I can go with a street legal vehicle.

Did you do a video installing the lockers?
No, pro gear in San Diego did it. Amazing job!
Nice truck! I'm interested in knowing what front bumper you have and light set up? Thank you.
Thank you! C4 fabrication bumper
Baja Designs lights. Best lights around. The Round ones are LP9 then light bars are S8 and OnYx bars.
@@prospectoverland What C4 Bumper? Overland?
Thanks for your response

Yeah it was nuts. Couldn’t believe it. Thanks for watching it.
