This was done and practically tested on Friday night, thank you so very much! My version included small pieces of walnuts incorporated into the base and the caramel filling, it was a great cake!
I will try this it better be the best as you say! Also honestly the oil in the chocolate trick is the best part of this video definitely will use that in other recipes :D
Couldn't wait for Christmas Jack, I made it yesterday 😁 It's just as delicious as it looks! As usual your step by step instructions are fantastic and really appreciated. 🙂
This is definitely my favourite tray bake of all time. I'll definitely have a go at these over the festive season....oh who am I kidding.....it doesn't need to be Christmas for me to eat these, teehee. Thanks Jack! Lee :)
Tolle neue Website. Super, dass alles auf Deutsch übersetzt ist. Jetzt kann ich richtig loslegen und viele Deiner Gerichte nachkochen 👍🏻😋❣️❣️ Viele Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪
Wow, this is really close to what we made back in New Zealand when I was doing my volunteer program. I will look forward to making this, so I can have a slice of some good memories.
Definitely the best recipe this is my go to! I've tried to make it somewhat healthier by swapping out half the sugar with monkfruit sugar instead and honestly it's still delicious 😍
Delicious 🤤 I need to learn how to cut and put those baking paper into the baking pan so smoothly without pockets and creases Thanks for the dessert idea
hmm did a similar one like this the other day, at millionaires shortbread which was rather similar [apart from cream instead of condensed milk] and some white chocolate dribbled over the top....one thing i did note with my dish was melting the caramel to over 120 degrees [using sugar thermometer whilst keeping it from burning...your version of making the caramel looks far easier and far safer to do...as i ended up with a slight treacle flavour in mine, due to some burning ..so this is perhaps the better recipe to do ..my thanks..this should lower a particularly problem area of this dish :)
This sounds absolutely delicious and I really would love to give it a try. Unfortunately I am not allowed to eat coconut. Therefor I would like to ask if I could substitute the coconut by ground almonds? Thank you so much for another great recipe :-)
I'm making these for Christmas, yum! I love millionaires shortbread and this recipe looks easy to do. Can groundnut oil replace sunflower oil in the chocolate?
Hallo Yet another Delicious Recipe😃 I've read your Background on Your New Website I also come from England (Stockton-On-Tees) and I now live in Germany sone of the ingredients are Hard to get but Thanks (or no Thanks) to Amazon I can Find and Order Sone of them As alway's keep the good work up 😃😃
12 to 24 pieces!😂😂😂 explain that to us chocoholic cake lovers Jack! I’d probably cut it eight or maybe four😂 I mean, if you’re going to have a piece of cake, then have a piece of cake! It wouldn’t last 5 minutes in my house😂 it looks delicious! Many thanks for recipe. 👍
It takes out the unnecessary amounts of sodium that are in salted butter. Using a sprinkle of sea salt flakes creates the perfect level. However, you can use it if it's all you have.
This looks so delicious and addictive 😋🤪 those layers look lovely...and yes...have it as one whole slice😄😆😋😋 watching this just before heading to bed...which is not so good as I want one right now🙄😅😅 Thank you Chef Jack 💕💕💕💕
Please enjoy this one. Be sure to check out the new website and merchandise - chefjackovens.com

I need to learn how to cut and put those baking paper into the baking pan so smoothly without pockets and creases
Thanks for the dessert idea
The best way is to lay the baking paper down, place the baking pan or tin over the top and cut around leaving a little edge 😊
Have to try this recipe it looks yummy 😊🇮🇪❤️
Please do! It’s so good
I made this and it was an absolute SUCCESS!!!
Great to hear 🙏
This was beautiful

😍😍😍Thank you.
One of my favourite snacks buddy. Yum! 💛♥️😁
They’re soo good 😊
I would never have thought to put salt on top, will have to try that.
It greatly enhances the overall flavour and makes it taste incredible 🤤🤤
hmm did a similar one like this the other day, at millionaires shortbread which was rather similar [apart from cream instead of condensed milk] and some white chocolate dribbled over the top....one thing i did note with my dish was melting the caramel to over 120 degrees [using sugar thermometer whilst keeping it from burning...your version of making the caramel looks far easier and far safer to do...as i ended up with a slight treacle flavour in mine, due to some burning ..so this is perhaps the better recipe to do ..my thanks..this should lower a particularly problem area of this dish :)
This method skips the steps of actually making caramel from scratch which is difficult without a thermometer and can be quite dangerous. 😊
This sounds absolutely delicious and I really would love to give it a try. Unfortunately I am not allowed to eat coconut. Therefor I would like to ask if I could substitute the coconut by ground almonds? Thank you so much for another great recipe :-)
You definitely can substitute the coconut for ground almonds 😊
I'm making these for Christmas, yum! I love millionaires shortbread and this recipe looks easy to do.
Can groundnut oil replace sunflower oil in the chocolate?
Awesome! Please enjoy them. Yes you can use groundnut oil 😊

Hi chef jack love your work, can you use olive oil or avocado oil instead of sunflower oil?
Thank you, Dennis! You can use either just make sure they’re neural flavoured which won’t overpower the flavour
Hallo
Yet another Delicious Recipe😃
I've read your Background on Your New Website I also come from England (Stockton-On-Tees) and I now live in Germany sone of the ingredients are Hard to get but Thanks (or no Thanks) to Amazon I can Find and Order Sone of them
As alway's keep the good work up 😃😃
Thank you very much! I hope you’re able to source the ingredients where you are 😊
Hello! Looks delish! Question - can I use avocado oil instead?

Question; can i use milk chocolate instead of dark? If so, do i still add oil to that?
The only thing I dislike about this channel is I didn’t find it sooner! Keep up the great work, mate.
I really do appreciate it! Thank you 🙏
Let me try this recipe, to be honest I am not good with dessert but this seems easy and super delicious 😋
It’s very easy to put together. You’ll smash it!! 👌👌😊
YOU BEAUTY‼️ was just thinking of making some millionaires last week!
Thanks Jack! 🙏😁
Sounds like perfect timing! Please enjoy 😊
Haha 😂 it’s a pleasure! Please enjoy 😊
I'm assuming I can swap out the milk chocolate for white chocolate??
Definitely
Why unsalted butter? wil it make a difference? :)
Thx for that upload
It takes out the unnecessary amounts of sodium that are in salted butter. Using a sprinkle of sea salt flakes creates the perfect level. However, you can use it if it's all you have.
Wawwwww Delicious
