-Sheldon getting duct taped to the wall.
-Sheldon and Amy being villainized for calling out the plagiarists.
In terms of ongoing things that went on for more than one episode, I would also veto:
-Howard going to space. Why was a man with his heart condition ever allowed to go to space? That doesn't even factor in that he had no astronaut training before, or that his space toilet failed.
-Penny getting a job in pharmaceutical sales. She had no degree or qualifications for that
-Bernadette not getting fired for the many workplace accidents she has caused and her behavior at work in general.
-The introduction of Mandy McCalister. That's when that show completely jumped the shark.
-The disappearance of Missy playing baseball. There were only 2 baseball episodes after season 2 and 0 such episodes after season 5 episode 9. Maybe if she still had that going on in her life, she wouldn't steal a truck and drive away.
Friends S2 Ep 10 Fun Bobby
Honestly… the death of George Sr. was shown because the parent series, Big Bang Theory, acknowledged the death! If anything, it didn’t really JUMP OFF THE SHARK! It’s my opinion of it!
I agree, I liked that they made George more of a caring, family man, and not an abusive, cheating drunk. It would be hard to portray that type of character in a normally lighthearted sitcom.
One of the rare good fathers in media
That's not the point. What they said was he regretted making Sheldon's father dead because it meant they had to kill him in young sheldon. So this character that everyone got attached to for 7 years has to die otherwise they create a time paradox
the ending of how i met your mother, almost threw something at the tv set
@@Handsome_Black…Fair enough!
It speaks about how great Monica and Chandler were as a couple if the writers regretted having Monica admit that she intended to hook up with Joey. She likely would have changed her mind and bailed, had he been there.
Not a story line, but the Stranger Things writers said they regretted killing Chrissy off so early because they loved the chemistry between her and eddie
Eddie and Chrissy had my heart tbh :(
Wow, I’m surprised that the fate of George Cooper, Jr. is made it into the top #1. I guess he really was beloved by the fans and the creators.😁
Til this day! I will never forgive what happened to Tara on Buffy. She deserved so much better.
If keeping Tara around meant no Kennedy I would be 1000% behind it
agreed
Kennedy was the most useless obnoxious character ever
Xena Warrior Princess. If I was in charge of what story lines got aired, I would have vetoed the hell outta the finale. There were so many other ways they could have gone besides killing her off for good.
I don't like to think of it as being killed off for good because she was reincarnated so much
Just watch 'When Fates Collide' after the finale to create a happy ending.😉
Spoiler Alert for NBC's Chuck
Although I've come to appreciate the showrunner's intent and I know that Sarah falls back in love with Chuck in the finale, I still think having Sarah lose her memories in the first place was a mistake, or atlest could have been resolved more definitely. Still, Chuck remains my favorite show.
I love Chuck, but I hate the “Sarah losing her memories” storyline
The Himym writers probably wish they could’ve undone the ending of the series even though they did an alternate ending (I personally liked the finale but I can see why some might not like it)
My biggest beef with the ending of HIMYM wasn't the ending, it was how they undid all the character development of Barney in like two episodes of the last season. They spent so much time developing him into a better man, not just with Robin but his other girlfriend, the one that was a stripper, only for him to go back to sleeping around. And then only to be like nothing else matters when he has a baby daughter. It was so trite. There was also the issue of the Ted's kids being like "We love Aunt Robin" when the bits and pieces we saw of her and Ted interacting after he was married she was stand offish and I didn't get the impression they saw each other much. So like how did the kids really get to know her to the point that they "loved" her. I had not real problem per se with them using the mom just as a vessel for the kids because the show was never about their marriage, it was always about how they met and you got the impression if he was telling the story without her, something had happened. I'll always defend HIMYM though, it was my "Friends."
Honestly, I think that the death of George was a great way to end the series. I cried the whole funeral epesoide, and they gave him a proper goodbye
I think I heard somewhere that the writers of Doctor Who expressed regret at how they treated the character of Martha Jones. The fact that they always went out of their way to highlight her unrequited love for the Doctor to a point that it overshadowed all of her other qualities and became the one thing most fans remembered about her, myself included. I didn't like her initially because I found her annoying and felt like she did little else besides follow the Doctor around like a lovesick puppy. It wasn't until I rewatched the show recently that I realized that, apart from the unrequited love bits, Martha was actually a really cool and badass character and is now one of my all time favorite companions of the Doctor, and I find myself annoyed by how the writers treated her. I also didn't care for how the Doctor acted like a bit of a jerk to Martha sometimes, especially when she was trying to be open or vulnerable with him, something I think the writers have also expressed regret for.
I think it says a lot about how Hollywood writes about the LGBTQ+ community that three of the 10 involved characters that were LGBTQ+. I think things are a little better now, but there's still a ways to go
In the original timeline. Sheldon’s father wished he was never born
Ending of *How I Met Your Mother* is biggest mistake, that happened ever to tv series. Cast perfect woman for final love interest and kill her, so to regress all progress main character did, so to drop his obsession. 🙄😩
Alternative ending was NEEDED here, even producers understood it. 😫
If you're gonna do a long running series make sure you adapt do that the finale makes sense.
@@frankieseward8667 EXACTLY. Not ask viewers for opinion in second season, when everything between Ted/Mom, Barney/Robin is not even started, but Ted/Robin are in honeymoon phase. Whole rest serie shows, they want different things and are incompatible. But, yeah. Lets romanticize obsession by end of all seasons, when final one practically starts with explaining mc, why he should let go. 😩
What was wrong with the chicken pox episode of Friends? The stalker one was weird but so is Phoebe! All her friends were telling her what a bad idea it was, so it's not like in universe it was ok. Sometimes IRL we date people even though everyone around us says it's stupid to do so. Chandler's dad though ... yeah that didn't age well.
I will always stand by this by saying that Tara didn't deserve to die the way she did or didn't deserve to actually be killed off. The dark willow arc is still my least favorite story line in Buffy. I'm also surprised there was any regrets with the connor and cordy thing since most fans hate this
Chandler's dad was never transgender though, just a man in drag. That was the point. That even the writers get their own show wrong is shocking

Georges death showed how badly it affected Sheldon. To make up how awful his father was to cover up the grief and pain showed how much it hurt him.
I have no problem with George's death. That's good writing. The point is that life isn't always perfect and fair. Sometimes people die young. Sometimes kids lose their parents when they're still kids. It's rough but it happens. What made those 2 shows so great wasn't that they showed that life is perfect. They showed that life is very IMperfect, that even geniuses go through terrible things, and it shows how geniuses deal with these things vs. how normal people deal with them.
And the realization that life is very imperfect gave Sheldon the Nobel worthy idea of superasymmetry! See how everything is connecting in TBBT...
It was pretty clear that everything that happened on Lost, Actually happened.
There was an episode of Saved by the Bell where, in order to work off the debt on her dad’s credit card, Lisa allows Zack to sell her undergarments and kisses with her in a story that gets uncomfortably close to sex-trafficking.
Even series star Mark-Paul Gossalaer says that Zack Morris is Trash for that one.
There's a whole You Tube series called "Zack Morris is Trash" that breaks down episode by episode every sleazy thing he does and why he's trash. It's amazing.
Matt Groening also hated the crossover episode with The Critic, not for how they wrote it, but because Fox insisted they do it and he couldn’t say no.
Can you do top 10 best tom kenny voice roles?
"The Principal and the Pauper" should've been way higher than just an honourable mention
Harry Shearer even disliked the episode because of the retcon
I agree. That's much worse than George's death.
@@Omar-wq9dzwhy couldn't they given Skinner survivors guilt.
I believe that the writers regretted the entire storyline of season 8 of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"; (particularly the storyline of the School of Friendship, and the bad character decisions in that season) And that they only did it because the executives and producers demanded it.
It makes me angry wether I’m team Damon or team Stefan, I personally think they had enough time to if they wanted Stelena to be endgame to make them endgame. Either A Nina should’ve/ would’ve let them know she was ending her contract and they could prepare for stelena’s feeling to come back and delena to fade. B if they did learn last minute that they got renewed for season 7, as their contracts originally ended at season 6, if they thought “season 6 is our final season” until maybe the last 4 episodes or so they still up to that point thought it was their final season and if they wanted stelena to be endgame that was the time.
The ending of Charmed, there is no trace of Prue left in the house. The only indication is when Piper's granddaughter uses the same scene to close the door that Prue used in season 1.
Happy wednesday morning, Kirsten, take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well
friends is a interesting time jump how diffrent the world was 20+ years ago if friends was redone there is very few things that could be used
We fans regret this
1-The Royal family perpetuates a society where people born with inferior DNA by random chance are forced into slavery
2-Black Bolt is given two-way communicator as writers forget the basic things about main character- If he talks , he emits sonic scream, so He trained himself to not speak and communicate with sign language , How would giving him two-way communicator work ? . **Even Echo writers knew throughout the series that Maya Lopez is deaf and Mute and communicates with Sign Language hence there is not a single scene that showed her with two way communicator unlike Black Bolt in Inhumans**
3-Medusa - absolute jerk to everyone around her except her family, making you feel sorry for everyone she meets on Earth and has no storyline
4- Maximus- seems more heroic and better protagonist than entire Royal family despite being **main antagonist of Inhumans**
**The supposed bad guy overthrow a corrupt government to end slavery without spilling any blood. In what universe is Maximus not the hero of the story?**
5-Inhumans final episode
You don’t care about anything happening
We never see Attilan and its people
**In a single episode , They use random plot twists out of nowhere to make Maximus, the only good person in Royal family, more evil than the Royal family who learned nothing from their time on Earth and are still racist idiots they were from Episode 1**
Maximus isn't hero because it was like October Revolution - overthrown bad guys were better than the good guys who in reality were bad guys themselves. Maximus didn't think about equality. In the finale he willfully destroyed their world. And Family did change
0:52 funny they'd think no one survived in the first place after these words. It just showed the Island or rather plane crush place was now empty
Surprised that the introduction or death of "Nikki and Paolo" on Lost wasn't on this list...it should be a writer's regret.
Mary and Adam Kendall‘s baby and Alice Garvey dying a little house on the Prairie in a fire. That was hideous! I realize Mary never married or had children in the book series, and if they were going to kill her baby, they should’ve went on ahead and killed Adam also! Neither one of them ever existed so,,, it really made me very angry!
I've also heard that Kevin Williamson wanted to do kill off both brothers and have Elena live while they brothers followed her around as ghosts in their afterlife which would've been awful. I think Elena's exit allowed both the writers and the audience to see that more important relationship was between Damon and Stefan not either one with Elena.
I wonder which part of Season 8 did the Game of Thrones writers regret? The part where it overall sucked or the part that they didn't even get to work for Star Wars because of it?
criticize Friends like It was writting TODAY is ABSURD!!!
I mean, not really. People spoke against it back then too. Kinda like saying you can’t think down on segregation because it was “different times”.
Young Sheldon and Big Bang had SO MANY character inconsistencies. George Sr. was probably the biggest one, followed by Meemaw. When you look at their Young Sheldon characterizations, their Big Bang counterparts are completely different.
I mean.... people can change a LOT in 30 years, especially when the protagonist (Sheldon) is unreliable.
Stuff I would personally regret if I write them
- The HIMYM ending
- Andy being out of The Office because of a boating trip
- The Mandalorian Season 3 not involving Mando & Grogu going on adventures
I would definately have not killed off Carl Grimes in TWD. Justice for Carl. Also, I wouldn't have had Rick leave the main show.
Tara was a amazing character, i miss her
As a writer, I have yet to write a plot line I regret
(Keyword YET)
I love vampire diary
Not “where’s the money “ … where’s the gerbils 😂😂😂
If I had worked on Carmilla I would have changed Maddie’s death because A) why kill off a character if you keep using them after they die? Maddie still showed up as a servant to the goddess of death! and B) it was really hard to forgive Laura for how she caused Maddie’s death, it was extremely vindictive.
TWD wasn't wrong, but This Is Us leaving S1 finale with that hint to show next episode that that wasn't the case was surely not a right move. As per LOST, it's just audience's over-fixation
"Seeing Red" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the easily one of the worst TV episodes ever for combing not just one but TWO of the most egregious mistakes and is just a cruel/offensive/sadistic joke to story/character/cast/crew/audience alike and it's really a fanon discontinuity. Still can't believe this BS could be aired without (or worse, despite under) overwhelming distain & disgust.
Biggest mistake of TWD was
*** spoiler ****
killing of Carl. That’s when I stopped watching
I never saw the end credits of lost, so it didn’t effect me.
I don't think Scott Buck regrets this
**No matter how ethnically, racially, sexually or any way diverse cast you have, If your film or series has Inhumans - level writing, It just won’t work just like Wish and Madame Web**
**The IMAX presentation of the first two episodes grossed $3.5 million worldwide.****[120]**
**"Nobody is going to root for a cast of characters who stand for discrimination, eugenics, and racism." with 5 out of 8 episodes having zero plot and zero-character development -Inhumans review.**
**How did MCU went from Homecoming and GOTG2 to Inhumans in 2017?**
I'm glad you see you are as annoyed as the rest of us about Krissy's death.
Dana's storyline in THE L WORD
Early on to watching this video but I think that Niles and Lilith should have never slept together. It was so out of the blue and extremely out of character for both. Same with Roz and Frasier after that their relationship changed forever for the characters. Eww. It also bothers me that it kind of shows that men and women just can’t be friends because at some point they’re bound to have sex, which is completely far from reality.
Here's a bright idea - spoiler warning is useless when you mention the plot in the top names. Just leave it for narration while in the top just mention the show
Nikki and Paulo in LOST...that was a waste of time
they were fun
I stopped watching when I heard they were going to have George die on the show I loved him
Good girls:rio should of stay dead when beth shot him
I stopped watching The 100 because Clark was so annoying.
The Lexa one though, open letter or not, will always sting...
This belongs on WatchMojo not MsMojo. Feels like there isn't much difference between the 2 channels anymore
What was the original difference between the two channels?
@@beebee__ MsMojo tends to gear towards female friendly audience, but this video works just fine on watch.
😮😢
Delena ruined the Vampire Diaries
Maybe Kauffman could feel bad about not having any other races other than white on the show Friends either. Granted there were a couple but only one that was on more than one episode.
There are a mountain ⛰️ of things for her to feel bad about. Homophobia, Fatphobia, racism, etc
Times change. Get over the "cultural" issues from TV shows from decades ago. Friends is a fabulous show!
10. That show had no idea what it was doing anyway.
9. That death needed to happen
7. This was fine. no need to feel bad about it
6. stupid show anyway
4. oh get over yourselves.
3. This was/is a hilarious punchline. I laugh so hard at this joke
2. Tara was a useless character anyway. Her death meant nothing. I would have been as happy if they killed Dawn Summers too.
1. We all knew that was coming.
Honorable mentions: Girls is a terrible show that demeans women under the guise of empowering them
this was the worst Simpsons episode
Who knew that Jack Pearson & Sam Winchester both had the hots for Rory?
So Marta Kaufmann regrets misgendering Chandler's dad, but not getting Joey & Rachel together? Okay...
Also there is another thing that Chuck Lorre should regret about the original series: *leaving Raj single.*
Do people realise that any show is going to have drama and death. The rainbow brigade can’t complain when a character dies, shit happens. People fight, people have drama, people die. Straight, gay, trans, whatever. If it makes the series interesting or brings something to a new season, do it. To be fair, Tara had 3 seasons of crap dropped on her then she died.
Tara is NOT the buried gay its fridge
@#4 @#3, #2 Who cares!!! If you are upset over that then you are focusing on pandering 0.0001# of the population to not 'offend them', then you are not focusing on storytelling just pandering to rainbow riders. People have had characters killed off and we moved on.
