    Cesar has improved my life on many levels. His wisdom and energy teach me so much about being a dog owner, leader of the pack, taking responsibility, commanding space, being a better husband, father, human. Better planet through better people. That is truly what I think Cesar is all about. He inspires me every time I watch his lessons. Thank you Cesar Milan for giving yourself to the world. We benefit from your spirit.

    He has so much wisdom and is ready to share it with the people in a way that the lady could understand, such as her being a mother.
    The way the poodle soon learnt to give boundaries and sit respectfully when Caeser had the leash on them.

    It's crazy how everything you say can be applied to humans. Same problems, parents expressing love to kids in an inappropriate way / at the wrong moment, seeing discipline as punishment, kids / dogs becoming stressed and unable to be disciplined. That's real life lessons not just for dog owners

    I have learned so much from Cesar. I rescued a beautiful older pit bull with a loving personality. She is the most affectionate dog I have ever had. Similar to the poodles, she puts on a show for other dogs. Only she has a pitiful crying noise which shows weakness. Before Cesar I started my walk afraid.
    After watching numerous videos I grew confidence in helping her. She's not perfect, work in progress, but I am no longer afraid. Cesar saved another pit bull and helped me to understand her.

    • @markfuller
      @markfuller 3 года назад +7

      @@DeLaxen Sounds like exaggeration ("touch" = "hit & kick")? I agree with J Shep. I was into modern behaviorism (& all positive) before it was popular. Did it for a decade. It's great stuff in its own right. it's how dolphins learn to do 5 somersaults (on command). But, by itself it doesn't work for all people, all dogs, all behaviors. It's not balanced. Instead, it becomes a religion. The principle becomes more important than the outcome.
      If there were something so vastly better than Cesar's way, where is everyone? Wouldn't *someone* want to be famous, and wealthy, and lead dog owners to immensely better ways with well-received multi-season tv series, and 2mil subscribers to their you tube channel? You know what I mean? If it's that bad, why hasn't *anyone* cashed in by now? At best there are tv series showing essentially the same results. Hardly a testament for discouraging someone the way you're doing.
      To the OP: look up Aesop's Fable about "the dog in the manger." That's often what the anti-Cesar crowd sounds like. Just pushing others down to feel better about themselves. Making things sound worse to make their point (that you should feel discouraged before you even start). It's really sad because the dog world is toxic this way. It thrives in shelters, rescues, etc.

    • @elisemiller13
      @elisemiller13 3 года назад +7

      @@DeLaxen That's a misrepresentation and misunderstanding of a touch technique. For Years, my friend had this same notion in is head and his dog would never come and would often run away for hours. Now they have SO much fun together and it's all so simple! all because they stopped for one moment to consider where their juggements of Cesar was coming from (had Nothing to DO with Cesar. Now they walk their dog, instead of being walked and have begun to have fun together, with agility training. The dog is having Just as much fun + Respect, because she feels safe now that he's taken his position as leader.

But i don't use any of Cesar's techniques and i haven't had any problems with my dog...

      @@DeLaxen says "It is from all the leaked videos from behind the scenes where he has been caught mishandling dogs... He has apologies for it himself as well" Do you have a reference for that? I searched and couldn't find anything, which seems odd when there's "all" the leaked videos. :) All I've ever seem are dogs at a high-level of frustration/intensity who are touched with enough energy/intensity that they can "hear" the message and snap out of it.
      There is a modern, politically-correct form of behavior-based training advocates of which routinely overstate these things. As mentioned previously, I was one. It doesn't work for some dogs. The advocates tend to insist that their way works for these dogs, but you rarely see it. It typically takes far more time than the average person has. Or, it just doesn't work at all (I know advocates who run down Cesar, but have dogs at home which they have to keep gated in seperate rooms because they can't control them with the behavioral theory.).
