You're actually becoming a really good surfer, like on a competitive level for surfing. Which is weird because pre-surgery you weren't even close. Whatever fire is burning, it's burning hot bro. In my opinion you should start doing the QS/CS on WSL.
Everybody was stoked about watching Mason and Coco for the past week and almost all of it is because we enjoy their RUclips content. Mason actually advanced yesterday because of 1 dope air. Most of those people can't even do airs...
It's also great for marketing your brands. Set up a booth after your heat and sell merch like a rock band does. Go live this life brother, I fucking believe in you.

So Mason advances a few rounds, he's not a contest surfer. Koa is true free surfer who doesn't need to do airs, throwback to pre-air legends.

CT level?? No way. Koa's a good surfer, but the CT would eat him alive. He'd do good at Pipe, but a regular contest? He doesn't have the moves, but solid surfer nonetheless.

He's branding now and imo he has the best surfer brand on the market. Traveling to these places is marketing. Setting up booth, selling a 2-3 boxes of merch to local shops, etc. It's a legit path.

Hot on the South Shore in October what!? Wished I could say the same about Orange County California where the C in California stands for COLD- where its WINTER year round in the ocean compared to Hawai'i and even though Fall is our best season, it's starting to get quite chilly in the ocean out here! Miss the freedom of surfing Bowls in board shorts only for sure!

@@dieselnazzaro1669 Sure, the air temps in the Southland from SB down to the border are comparable to any desert- hot, baking, dry air most days even in winter. But the water temp in the ocean in ANY part of California is just ICY! If you've ever spent any sessions in HI, any season, the water temp there rarely dips below 77F while in CA, we're claiming tropical when it barely stays above 65F late summer for 2 months, but its the ONLY time we can pull off boardshort surfing, with a wetsuit jacket of course. Other than that its full suits year round here. Honestly, can't remember a time ever sweating in a 4/3 full suit while in the water, only if I stay on the beach too long.
