- In our interview with Kip, we talk about a number of things in his life, specifically his pivot to classical compositions and orchestrations for ballet. In this exclusive he gave us first listen to snippets of his upcoming violin concerto (due in 2025). We also talk about musical inspirations, iconic songs, highlights of his career and much, much more.
Kip Winger, to me, is just on another level as a human being. Always loved him. One of the best interviews with him I've ever seen... and I'm only half way through it. Thank you for a thorough and interesting interview. Great job!
I love this man ❤
Top guy. One of the most talented artists on earth. A lovely person too.
I loveeeee, I agree ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Interviews with him are great because he doesn’t just answer questions, he shares.
As an author, I can totally vibe with what Kip is saying about the creative process. Great interview. Looking forward to more of his music, both orchestral and rock. Been a fan since day 1.
Great interview with such a talented guy.
Kip is on top of it all.
I love how openly joyous Kip was when speaking about his orchestral composing. He was just so genuinely happy! While I will most definitely mourn the end of Winger, I AM looking forward to this new.phase of his career.
We lucky enough to attend the premier of his Symphony NO. 1 and we are.excited to have tickets to the Concerto next year!
Great interview!
I never miss a Kip interview and this was one of the best. My husband and I met Winger during a VIP experience and Kip and all of the members were so amazing and were really genuine with their fans. On another note Tears of Blood is one of the best and I love the entire Seven album. Wished they would have had more songs in the concert set.
Amazing interview! You guys did your research and asked new questions that were also insightful!
A great interview, this man does not truly understand what a treasure he is. I've never been able to attend one of their shows, but, I just purchased a ticket a few weeks ago for next month. I'm so relieved because I've been worried that they may decide to stop touring.
After this interview my heart is literally pounding, and I'm physically shaking. -thank God they're coming to my city or I'd have never seen them live, PHEW! By the grace of God I made it.. doing the VIP too, cannot wait.. This is such a good, decent, uber talented group of men-they are a national treasure.
I'm onboard for the journey of Kip's next phenomenal chapter/season. all aboard, lets go!
*I do wish Kip will someday do a Christmas album, would love to hear his voice singing O Holy Night, wishful dreaming on my part..
Thank you for this wonderful interview.
I finally saw them for my first time last week in Dallas, and they did not disappoint. Enjoy!
Yeah, the Dallas show was awesome!
33:51 He is magnificent!! Very knowledgeable!! Very accomplished!!!
What a phenomenal interview! 👏🏼 Very entertaining & unique! The intro was awesome! 😂 You guys really did your homework & it’s probably one of the best I’ve heard. Well done! 😜👏🏼
So very thrilled to hear a snippet of the Violin Concerto No 1! 🫢🎻 Can’t wait to hear the final production live in May!
Kip is always so very humble & doesn’t realize how extraordinarily gifted he really is! From strategic key & signature changes to precise modulations & intricate strumming techniques, I have always been fascinated by all of his music. When you have a musical background yourself, you truly appreciate the magnitude of his work. He’s immensely talented and, no doubt, the best is yet to come!
Through the hard work & dedication that Kip has; it will be exciting to see the huge body of orchestral work that the universe will manifest for him! 🔥💫✨
Bravo you guys! 🤘🏼
This interview was so intriguing. Kip mentioned "Tears Of Blood" a few times from SEVEN which song truly hit me in the feels. Kip mentioned that he had a few videos from SEVEN "In the can..." that he's reluctant to push out which I truly hope he does put them out. Kip, being truly talented, and if this is Winger's last album, the way the band moves through the videos, I don't want Kip/Winger to sell themselves short. As far as Kip continuing to move more and more into his orchestral composing, he is equally intriguing. This interview was a great, rather close to your chest, interview. The questions asked and answered by Kip were what, myself as a fan, wants to hear. I've always been a Winger, Kip Winger, et al. fan. Not going to lie, it would be bittersweet to see Kip move away from his Winger work all together but his classical composition is equally layered like "Tears Of Blood" lyrics. Great questions which drew out great responses on Kip's end. Again, intriguing. I will certainly continue to follow Kip as he moves through the art he continues to, seemingly, effortlessly put out. Thank you for this interview. Very thorough.
Thank you, Kip, for taking the time out of your busy touring schedule to do this interview. Also, thank you for introducing your fans to a genre of music unlike what we typically listen to. I have already purchased my ticket to hear your latest composition in May,
Kip is falling in love with his soul. Beautiful. Thanks for the great interview. 🌹🌹🌹
One of the best interviews I've seen with Kip, nice one!
@@DS76204 Thanks much! He was such a great guest.
This was such a great interview! Thoughtful questions and responses. I'm an aspiring writer and the advice Kip shared was very helpful. I could very much relate to the joy when the muse is there and the frustration when it isn't. I love both the band's and Kip's solo music (orchestral and rock). I ended up going back and watching this interview again because there were so many nuggets of wisdom to glean from it. Kip is a wonderful inspiration and a very talented artist. Plus his humility is admirable and a great example to follow.
Oh wow! Can't believe he said, "walk away"... You just confirmed for me Kip, what I've always done and wasn't sure if it was a good thing. I knew I wanted to listen to this when I saw it was very recently done. Thank you 👍
Awesome! I am so happy to be watching this interview. I so desperately wanted to go to the Dallas show tonight but I was unable to do so because I live 2 and 1/2 hours away one way. So this interview made my night. Thank you guys so much!!!!
I have been so fortunate to have seen Winger live so many times in recent years. Witnessing that level of talent and enduring excellence is so rare. The thing that Kip repeatedly describes as coming down or channeling from the universe is what I believe is divine inspiration from the creator. I think that’s why music in all its forms touches people so profoundly. What an amazing gift all of these gentlemen have been given. It’s so, so sad that the band is winding down but I guess once something causes more pain than joy it’s simply not sustainable. One thing is for sure though, each of you have SO much more to share with the world! And one last thing, Kip. Oat milk is highly processed lol…
@@MindyFinney-bj5ht Awww Mindy...let the boy have his oat milk! 😂
I would Maureen, but I know you want him to live to 100 right? 🤣
@@MindyFinney-bj5ht YES you're right! 😂 What should he use then?? Almond milk? Isn't all of it processed in one way or another? I want only the best for my Kippy-dippy! 😍😂
I honestly don’t know. There’s so many dietary contradictions out there. I was really just joking, something’s gonna get you regardless and you gotta enjoy yourself sometimes right?
@@MindyFinney-bj5ht Definitely! He takes great care of himself so he's doing just fine! And here's me, about to get up to grab a piece of cheesecake...LOL.
Ótima entrevista
What a great interview. I don't see the Winger's singer... I see and listen to a very honest man, very passionate about his craft, especially the classical composer that is leaving a huge legacy for generations to come. I really dig his art now more than ever.
I have ❤ Kip opened my eyes to a true appreciation for his fans and I was blessed to be a part of it and listen, through that process I was introduced to his solo career and at that time I was awakened to a more complex person to whom I never knew existed, such a charming and fun charamiick person, the fun guy in the crowd who simply chose to go solo, to be really to be, I've always thought through any interview I've seen with him he seems confident yet a slight hint of feeling of melancholy or he has some regrets, maybe because he discovered his passion later than he realized but because this amazing group of musicians were criticized, downgraded, made fun of,really! Damn I wasn't a super huge fan of early albums but when Pull was released in 93 that was a ass kicking album, more raw and harder , it took more beyond that with age and drive that to me put them on the map, amazing artists that also had other projects but these gentlemen found a way to come back and make more meaningful amazing music again ❤❤🙏👍💕😊🙂
I will try to see him perform in the future in The U.S, or I'll wait til he arrives in Europe. Liked Kip for many years, with or without Winger. He is a visionary who seems to be very honest and real..Funny as hell if you watch his acoustic gigs when he performs alone here in Y.T
❤❤❤
Next time you recommend a composer, PLEASE give the spelling of the name.
JUROWSKI.
The grandfather, YUROVSKI was a Composer of movie scores.
His son, MICHAIL JUROWSKI, (YUROVSKI 'modernized') is a Conductor.
And his 2 sons, JUROWSKIS, were also Conductors.
So?
