The Muscle Enhancement booster really helps with the snow and blizzards. You get almost no slowdown when using it.
Small tip hopefully helps. I found, if you limit the framerate in the settings to like 60 or 70 it helps with the crashes, because they tend to occur most when the framerate fluctuates.
