All those cams are great but one thing I miss is that excitement of going to check a memory card 😂 , and the frustrations of forgetting to turn it on when you set it up hahaha , good times Good luck this season Jeff I will be following everything
Clarity - on the $5.00 picture plan for 250 pictures. Are they charging $5.00 for the 250 pictures the camera takes? Or is this for when you request pictures? 250 for $5.00
It’s $5 per month, per camera, and you get 250 images automatically sent to you for that price… i have never come close to 250 pictures in a month but if I went over 2 things would happen, I could increase my monthly plan for that camera or I could wait until the month ends and the 250 resets.
There is no set schedule, firmware updates are typical with new electronics as they discover critical issues that need addressing or introduce optimizations. It’s great that it can be done remotely and only takes about 30-60 seconds to complete but they just don’t want it interrupted by a power loss.
care to share what issues they are having ?, i just purchased the pro 3.0 yesterday, along with the battery rechargeable pack, solor panel, got it all set up at home, but have not placed it at spot yet. i fully charged the solar panel as it requires up to 4 hrs to charge internal battery. also charged pack up as well. i did read that these models were having issues with the solar panels not charging the internal battery pack, guess i will find out this coming weekend when i place it.
Crackhead stole my muddy camera so I bought one of these.. so confused after buying the subscription and having limited instruction. Says waiting on camera setup or something

Hey Sal, good luck this season as well!
Nice review. Seem like a nice camera
So far I’m really liking the cameras. Really impressive trigger speed.

How do you shut off the small led screen on the cam? Is it always on or does it time out?
After about 1 minute it goes off. I wondered the same thing
I’d be surprised if you even need to put that antenna up
Does it have a password for security?
No security password but it does have an internal GPS if stolen
How oftem do you have to update firmware? It doesnt update on its own? How many aa batteries does it take?
You can update the firmware remotely as well. They take 12AA batteries. I’m using Lithium in some and NiMH rechargeable in some.
@@jeff_doyle do you need to update firmware just once a year?

The Pro 3.0 has issues right now. I wish I had never bought it.
What issues have you had? I have not had any yet

I think your next step is to use the app to add a new camera using the bar code. Good luck
I have not seen you in a long time. What happened to your black beard?
Thanks for watching, the beard will be back but not quite as black these days :)
