While Christians are on life’s pilgrimage, they sigh for the beauty of the eternal city. Augustine knew this well, and he looked forward to the joy of heaven. Christians live in this fallen world, but they live with a view toward the future-glorification in the new heaven and earth. In this session, Dr. Lawson describes how Christians are to live in this world-in the already of Christ’s work-while at the same time anticipating the future inheritance of the saints-the not yet.
