The current game needs this type of mode. I only hope for next year. It would make it so much more fun

It wasn't the fact that the 2008 roster was weak, it was the fact that there is three shows on gm mode so you have less of a chance too get a lot of stars, you will have too create new stars
That’s why I always used WWE Roster and just did trades. ECW sucks lol

omar proctor compared to smack down live their roster is kinda limited for a show that's 3 hours long. In hindsight if you was them you're basically forced to repeat matches and stuff or it wouldn't make sense or not the right person
+TobiRulez Raws roster isn't really limited at all, they have 57 talent on their brand including the cruiserweights which trust me are more than enough to accommodate an extra hour. The only reason Raw keeps repeating matches is because they're lazy.

Hey Chris, here's a tip if you want a better roster. Hire legends as Smackdown superstars (like the rock, stone cold, mick foley...) and trade them for people like John Cena, Edge, Randy Orton, Batista... Thank me later ;). You'll get tons of great superstars on the brand.
2007 has better superstars, 2008 has 3 brands. Damn is a tough decision.

You have to remember in the 2007 you had only 2 brands and in 2008 you have 3 so that is going to make the rosters thinner. They have a pretty good roster in this one.

There is some unlockable legends in this game, you can purchase them from the shop with money earned in gm mode, I always used to just simulate to wrestlemania and earn $300,000 pretty quick.
they need to bring this kind of GM Mode back . its in great detail , u actually feel like youre in charge

you can activate legends or custom superstars for your GM mode (allowing to get The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, king booker, etc..) making your talent pool bigger (either start new draft with them or just pick them up from free agency after activation)
also make sure you have all superstars unlocked...!

2008 GM Mode has more things in it that you can do than in 2007 GM Mode

the only problem with SVR 2008 GM Mode is that there's 3 brands and in real life ECW had a pretty terrible roster and limited but in this game they can pick all the good stars which means the rosters don't work.

I think with 2k18 they should bring it back but with a few new things like NXT being a choose or make your own brand to compete with NXT, SDLive, and RAW and still being able to choose RAW or Smackdown of course
and they should keep universe mode as it is kinda like a sandbox mode of it

TherealRNO Nitro was ECW champ at this time, MNM had been broke up for almost a year when the game came out

get the worst superstar on your roster to popularity lvl 100 then u can trade him with anybody you want and the other manager WILL NOT DECLINE!!! YOU can even trade 1 for 2 in this strategy!
