In this combat bo staff training video you will learn short and medium range fighting combinations which include blocks and strikes and spins that you can use for sparring, demonstration, or competitions forms tournaments or for self defense when used as a walking stick. These techniques are used in Japanese Bo staff, Korean Joong Bong, or Kung Fu long martial arts staff and also Indian Silambam.
    Music from bensound.com thanks.

Thank you so much for this video. I now have a complete plan of a routine for the tournament. I was taught long range forms of blocks and strikes but lacked in midrange as well as close quarters. I appreciate this assistance. My tournament is on April 20th and I will hopefully have video/photos for you.

I didn't have anyone to video me but, I got 1st place in traditional weapons using my bo staff. My scores were 9.8, 9.9 and 9.8. Thank you so much for the tips and techniques.

Thanks for sharing these combinations, they gave me some good ideas. I look forward to more combination videos with alternate grips and smooth transitions between spins to strike (and vice versa). Thanks again! I’m learning a lot.
