Sawing LONG timbers for the GARAGE build!!! (How will we EVER hang these things?!!!)

  • Its finally time to get the Garage Build Underway! This is the first bit of timber that we will be needing to add the 20'x19' garage to our house. Straight from the mill to the new build! Thanks for watching guys! Like, Comment, and Subscribe for future content!

    Hey Tyler, ya'll ain't related to Johnny Wallace in Alabama are ya? He runs a veneer mill out past Montgomery. Enjoyed your video, I heard a friend of mine is fixen to ask me to cut light poles for him just like you did here. A little worried about metal!

    I am curious what you saw would do if you were not at the controls by the time it reaches the end of the carriage? I did not know if it would auto stop or bind the head motor. I have a manual mill and I have wondered that. Thank you. Great Video.

      It’s keeps pushing forward. I guess it would be bad for the motor if you did it to often.

    I see yawl all bundled up. Aiin't this weather crazy? I didn't even go outside Saturday and Sunday and here it is 64 degrees with a high of 79 today and a high of 84 tomorrow. Too bad I'm Gona be setting in a dental chair both days getting teeth pulled and Dentures. . I've never seen a February quite like this one.

    I think that yellow southern pine is much better quality lumber then western white pine. It's a shame that southern yellow pine is more pricey then western white pine.

    How many blades have you guys gone through with this new saw? Love watching your videos.

      We get usually 3-4 resharps. We have went through nearly 30. So accounting for sharpening, like 90-100.
