i'm growing out my hair from when i cut it all off because of trichotillomania, and i can't wait for my hair to get this long! so excited. i'm getting close
I had trich for 17 years and finally, at the age of 29, I've overcome it😀. It was a long journey to the end of my trichotillomania though. I honestly thought I was never going to be able to stop. I would go maybe like a week where I would stop and then my anxiety would kick in and back to pulling I would go. My intention, however, was to eventually quit letting it over come me. This past June, while I was pulling, I suddenly realized that if I don't stop that I would be bald all over. I was always strategic about how and where I pulled it off my head. I always pulled in a different area of my head for each hair pulled so that I would not have bald patches and be able to keep it hidden from my loved ones. To this day the only one who knows I ever had this is my husband. For 17 years I hid my condition from everyone. Since June when my mind somehow got the message that my trich needed to stop, I truly felt that I finally had the power to be able to stop. It's been five months and I cannot believe how well I've done. I do still get a tingle on my head when I'm stressed out but now I just scratch the area and it helps and I don't pull. Seeing how many people posted about it made me feel that I wasn't alone. You who still struggle with trich know that you re not alone and that you can do it, tell yourself that. I know it's hard and perhaps you think it's not possible but know that it is!!! I was in your shoes. I honestly never thought I was going to stop but for many years I kept setting goals to stop. I would tell myself today I will not pull, and this week I will not pull, this month I will not pull and now I'm telling myself this year 🤞I will not pull.

Hey Kasey my recommend for thin to use coconut oil leave it in the night and wash it the morning it honestly makes your hair more thick grows quick! And so smooth defiantly should try it out! 100% pure one, my hair use to be like yours but yeah love you and your videos 😘

My hairdresser told me not to pull out grey or white hairs because apparently it makes more grow back. She said just to cut it as short as you can without pulling it. Love the look by the way

I know she does beauty vids for a living which means im sure she has to stay up to date with the makeup trends. but I agree that her old brows suited her face far better! They made her look more soft and lovely, and they really brought out her amazing green eyes!! Not exactly sure why women are opting for such a full and straight brow these days, but it can look harsh and even masculine on some women. I think its a trend that should be laid to rest. This is of course one women opinion..
Your hair came out lovely and you're a lovely girl! Hun, don't pull the white hairs out, you can damage the follicle! Even if they're white, it's still hair! LOL! I lost my color early and it's mostly platinum. I'm a Wen girl so I get away with not coloring. Wen makes it shiny, alive and luxurious. Mine's a bit more coarse and fuller but yours is lovely. That's an old wives tale. Your grey hairs turn great due to hormones and genetics. That's all in your DNA pulling out a hair doesn't change your DNA
