ill have to give it a try, i'm already 200m necro but i was gonna use this to finish out 200m defense/Hp, then use phantoms to train attack and strength with a nox scythe later on(its roughly the same xp/hr in havoc). the current bar i used was Scythe, Skulls, Sap, Strike, Finger, auto. and i saw xp peaks of 1.6m when i was training necro, i was always using torst and lant incense with penance aura. most of the time my gear was 3 pieces of t90 power, t95 chest/legs because that's where my good perks were, with t95 weapons, but i often also just used armadyl and zaros chest pieces to level them up and disassemble for comps and it didnt really lower my xp by much.
They're just walking right through my platypus, even though it blocks other NPCs. I even cleared some out with deathtouched darts to be sure stacked phantoms weren't the cause.
Are these xp rates of lvl 120? With the action bar for penance I'm getting around 1,1m xp/hr at 114 using exact same setup excluding wen book (& dark crystal but looking at wiki can't figure out what that should help?), but surely wen book alone won't increase it by another 400k lol so idk what i'm doing wrong
Yes, I did about 30-40m xp worth of timed xp tests. With the exact setup (and ring of vigour passive- forgot to mention that in the video) you should get similar results
Using both together is best, but adding the cannon only adds about 50k xp/hr and greatly increases the chance of messing up, so I don't advise it for 95% of people

Only thing I have different is a sara book instead of wen. I had to throw ghost on my bar. Any clue why I wouldn't be healing enough? EDIT: after going for an hour, I only got 900k xp, so I'm clearly not doing it right. I went through the video again and the only things I can find different are no black crystal and no aggro pots (using elder ovls from Thok's event). I seemed to maintain aggro the whole time, so do aggro pots actually make a difference?
Aggro pots make a huge difference- that's probably the issue. They grab enemies more often than the natural aggro. I'd go back to the bar without ghost and use aggro pots. If you're still having trouble staying alive then swap fury of the smalls to death ward
I made this guide before summons were adrenaline free. It may be worth adding command army to the end of the bar and/or zombie up front, but I haven't personally tested it yet
To those saying they are getting 750k-800k exp per hour (like me, I was too) click the cog on your action bar "combat settings" -> "skills & experience" -> "Necromancy" and untick "defence". Seems that defence exp is automatically toggled on for necromancy so instead of getting 1.5m+ exp per hour you'll get 750k (because it's being split between necro AND defence). Now you should only get necro exp, and 1.5-1.6m of it per hour.
Did you ever try the xp differnce between using t95 armour vs t90 power? I know t90 is better with instakill but I was lazy and didnt make it thinking it wouls take longer to make than just do without and buy t95 :-) also now with event raptor gives these easily on task. Probably genocidal would be better in that case?
T95 stat wise offers ~1% dmg increase from t90, the main attraction of first necro robes are that conjures get buffed in dmg+ duration (which increases more damage). the revo bar used for this does not include conjures, so no set passives are utilized

Is it worth it to go out of my way to gather all the hemroid scales, enchant all the materials, kill nex (buy new perks but money is not an objection) etc just to go from t95 to t90? How much damage increase does the instakill mechanic give me per hour so I can calculate if it's worth it to do it for my remaining 50m xp?
@@hannesledegen5680 Seems you're a lot closer to the finish line. Deathdealer passive 10% to apply on paper seems good, but from my afk sessions, you don't get it's full potencial in farming mobs- it's good when it's close to execute range, however you often reach overkill ranges 'denying the "buff"'. With your roadmap, I estimate you'd take the same time to punch through with your current build, or pause> farm plates, do rituals and complete all tasks to make t90 then go back training
With Scythe rework from a few updates ago I never get enough adren for Skulls....? tips? Edit: ignore me, it went off, just really rare haha great video thanks!

Don't worry, that's intended. Death skulls is only on that bar so it's easier to swap to the other bar for other auras. Also no, don't summon the skeleton. It's more valuable to get adrenaline for scythe casts
During double xp week the dxpw spirit can spawn and walk on your platypus which breaks its priority and causes more phantoms to attack. You'll need to wait for the event to end
No, but keep in mind that for longer trips you’ll need to bring something to feed the baby platypus or it’ll run away Tooth creature pet also works as an alternative I believe
If you have the full setup from the video it will go off with the primary rotation. If you watch the aura cycling section at 14:15 you'll see how I swap between bars depending if inspiration is on or not The inspiration bar won't proc skulls, but the others will. Including skulls with it makes it easier to make a quick swap on your action bar for the next aura
Definitely something missing then. I'd watch through again and see what else is different. If you're able to record yourself doing it I'd be happy to watch through and help fix it
If that happens when you're trying to setup, attack the healing spirit with a soul strike, then go back to your target. If it keeps occurring then something is off with your setup like no salve amulet

Yep, the method still works well. It may be worth adding some combination of ghost/zombie/command army now that it's 0 adrenaline, but I haven't tested that yet

Wen book increases it a lot.
Black crystal means u just take more damage which means u get back more prayer when using penance

It gives slightly more adrenaline on average versus a basic auto attack with our setup

Not sure how you are instakilling them... they just summon their heal crystals every time i try to follow this and endlessly heal and murder me.

No worries, you need to move your mouse or hit spacebar or something once every 10mins to stay logged in
They drop decent loot, just open area loot and grab something before logout timer happens

Without the cannon, it’s 1m xp/h.
Because there will be 2 to 3 monsters no enraged, thus less kills and less xp per action.
It's up to 1.6m xp/hr without the cannon as long as you're using aggro pots like I discussed in the video
