- This is the follow up video to the JSB KNOCKOUT .30 Intro video that showed accuracy and ballistics gel performance. In the video, we take the slugs out to a local dairy that is infested with Ground Squirrels and other pest species that the owners want removed. JSB continues to impress with quality pellets and slugs that are not only accurate but perform beyond expectations on small game. If you compare the 1st video with ballistics gel, you can easily see why the slugs are so devastating in this video!

@@texasranchadventures No worries with ground squirrels on those type shots. Often times, the type of guns is shoot make complete pass throughs on them no matter the length of travels for the slug. Bigger animals, NO, i wouldn't do it. Thanks Bro

Thats awesome for your Buddy. The Uragan should push right around 85 fpe using JSB DOMES in .30 cal. They will just about shoot hole in hole at 60 yrds with the factory setting. I installed a Huma Reg in mine and set it recently for 150 bar in which the rifle now makes 90 FPE. YOu had me dying on the Arken comment. Glad I saw the smiley emoticon to tell you were jokin. Cause i was just about to ask you if you were OK!. Arken turrets are huge..........lol

Nice video, a dead squirrel is a good squirrel. If you ever consider a meet and greet/ range day up in the A.V., I would be interested.
Would love too. As soon as it stops being 140 degrees and windy as hell. Used to shoot in AV all the time until the environment changed around COVID

I think the 22 slug idea is an awesome one and it's one you can't go wrong with. 22 slugs cover so many bases. You can Target shoot, you can go long range and you definitely can hunt a lot of game. The 22 slugs fits the bill. It's a very diverse caliber

Great question and the answer is, HELL YEAH! I'm nearing or shall I say, "SLOWING DOWN" with new airgun purchases and wanting to pic up some of my "oldies but goodies". I get this question alot. I have a LOT of airguns...lol, so, yeah, I'll get back to them all. I love the both of those guns also

@@Hatuey73 both great rounds for airgunning. Both are very accurate and carry lots of power for sure. I cast all my own ammo and out of the two the 17 is the most problematic because the rounds are so small. So you really have to be on top of your casting game as there is nothing commercially available for .172 caliber

Alright, so I just had time to ammo test my new .30 HP Max and out of all the .30 pellets and slugs I could find the knockouts had the best FPE @87.24 at 885fps. I stocked up on NSA too hoping they’d shoot great but my rifle just does not like them. I’m super surprised at the NSA results but the fps was all over the place with them down to mid 500 up to 850ish. Anyhow the groups look good but I’m just now getting it dialed in and a storm just hit. Can’t wait to give them a proper review out of my gun.

But those slugs can’t be cheap…and part of me is saying, all these shot could have be made with jsb 18’s or NSA 20gr

Oh for sure man. But Its also about having options and showcasing new products to those that are interested. At the distances i was shooting, my 20 cal Cometa shooting 15.89 gr domes or even my AGT Vixen .177 shooting slugs (at the same cost as pellets) could have gotten the job done for a cheaper cost

I try with this slugs in my .30 fx impact at 1000fps and the accuracy was terrible. After to wach this video, i down the speed to 950 and was really nice. Thanks

Great shooting and very nice Kit. I wish we had tuners in the UK that can soup our rifles like that maybe it is time i start looking ,as all my rifle are standard But i must say they do shoot very well But i would like to have that bit more power 👍
Hello Edgar. These AGT air rifles are pretty easy to tune even for the novice. Should give it a go......... A little change can make a big diff

The LDC is from Airguns of Arizona. It is Uragan's own name brand LDC. The gun is decently quiet without the LDC because the shroud has baffles already in it but the LDC is just the icing on the cake. All of jsb pellets are extremely accurate as well as their new knockouts slugs. You can also use NSA's 47.2 and their 49.5 grs. You will find good results with these slugs and pellets I mentioned at factory settings. Thanks for watching
