@@Swagxy I mean in China only younger generations speak English. Most people born before the 70s don't understand English, as opposed to countries like France(known for low English level) where there are more mid age people who can speak English than in China. Not to mention Germanic countries.

I've noticed that he speaks a lot in mandarin to the fans even when he's in a country where people mostly speak english. Are there only chinese fans at this concert although it took place in LA? I've already wondered when I've seen him (through a fancam) speaking mandarin during a concert in Australia and here I wonder again. :)
Probably. His fans are mostly from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Then the rest are from different part of Asia (especially South East Asia like Singapore and Malaysia). The reason is that his songs are mostly in Mandarin. That's probably why he takes into consideration for his fans.
Most of his songs are in Chinese so his target audience in these English speaking countries would be the Chinese speaking audience.
I think since most of his songs are in mandarin, his fans should beexpecting to hear him speak in mandarin too, even in english speaking countries. They wouldn't be his fans if they didn't listen to his Chinese songs yeah?
