We Cruise on the Norwegian Escape! Embarkation Day. First Mega Ship for us!

- Hey everyone! Join us as we sail on the NCL Escape. One of the Largest ships that #catandmouseadventures has ever sailed. This is day one of embarkation and getting our bearings around this large vessel. We arrive on a cold day in Port Canaveral. The prior cruise had arrived late to port, so we had a late start to our vacation. We have lunch in the Garden Buffet and learn some new tricks making sure to reserve shows ahead of time. We enjoy out Balcony Cabin and end the night with Dinner at O'sheehan's Bar and Grill.

I took my first cruise, on the Norwegian Getaway. I disembarked last week a 10-day cruise. To the Eastern Caribbean. Watching you at the buffet, was like being back onboard. A great variety of all ethnics of foods.
Very practical and helpful info. Vlog is not just a recap of how wonderful the ship is… we already know this. ie, make reservations, old school muster stations and how the food court operates. Thanks, even from seasoned cruisers.

My husband and I will be having our 15th cruise in April on this ship. I appreciate your video! Very informative! I follow a lot of the cruise vloggers and have subscribed to you guys as well now! Thank you for the content! How was the food and service on this ship? This will also be our first NCL ship. We have done Royal, Carnival, and MSC so far.
Ncl is great . On this particular ship food was really good better thank carnival almost like royal . Ty for subscribing more videos are coming stay tuned .♥️

Do you recommend getting to the ship early or getting there as late as possible to avoid the crowds?
It is totally up to you ,But we recommend get there as early as possible to enjoy the ship. It counts as day one of your vacation

Is 11:00 boarding time or your check in time?
Both. It’s the time u chose when u check in to board the ship
How long does it take to embarkation? Whats a best time to arrive?
Embarkation is fairly quick. Check in online through app. Our best advice is choose an early arrival time during check in to get more out of your vacation .
How did you guys end up booking your dinner reservations? Did you have to go to each restaurant to book?
Most you can book on the app prior to trip. Others you book on the ship at embarkation/ or at kiosks around ship / even on your room tv
How is the weather in December (planning on going December 2023)
Florida in December is chilly at night and warm during the day. This cruise was in Jan and it was in the 40s that morning
Is there food at the H2O area?
In the morning pastries and coffee, yea but no other food. Although h20 is one floor up from the buffet . So easily can bring food upstairs if wanted too.
