Revelation14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
It was a blessing to find this video after work today, Oct 18th. Saint Luke is one of my favorite saints. Thank you. Deo gratias.
I want what God wants me to be
Wow 2:30 is a painting that truly holds a unique opportunity to enter that meditation of the temptation!
Saint Luke, pray for us. Amen!
Thank you Father, 3 Hail Marys for you.
@@Wgaither1 ...for His mercy endures forever; for His mercy endures forever; for His mercy endures forever; for His mercy endures forever...….psalm 117.
In your patience you shall possess your souls. Luke 21:19
Luke 6:13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
STEVE @ SENSUS FIDELIUM: Take a look at the painting at 2:00, its a profane parody. At first glance it looks normal but take a look at the details.
julie next good spot Julie!
julie next what’s wrong with it? Really?
Yes, I see it. Most unfortunate - it needs to be removed.
Correction: the first account of the gospel is Mark, then Matthew, Luke and John. Please check 🙂
You didn’t provide substance.
My name is Luke
I want to learn more about SAINTS LUKE AND MARK.... since they weren’t Apostles of OUR CHRIST.
Re-upload without the terrible painting at 2:00 please
Whats wrong with it i dont see what everyone else sees??
Interestingly, there are a number of paintings which were supposed to have been painted by St Luke. Is there an explanation of his painting skills and number of paintings he did anywhere and where they are now in the 21st Century?
Father! What in the world is the picture at 2:00 minutes Profane mocking blasphemy?
St Luke Painting Mary and Jesus
@@voxxpopulisuxx Look again! Jesus' leg spread, Mary's dress and breast pressed forward, painting is not representative of pose etc. It's vulgar and very disturbing.
@tony this coming from a teller of falsehoods
@tony By saying 'so true', you admitted being a teller of falsehoods. I have no reason to believe any false thing you said after those two words. On the other hand, if by saying 'so true', you were instead in those very two words telling a falsehood about being a teller of falsehood, then I would still have no reason to believe someone who tells a falsehood in order to say he tells the truth.

Your pride and arrogance is showing.
You come to boast but we see right through you.
This is not about the apostle Luke. Misleading header
Why is there a picture of a calf or a cow?????
I think it is now considered that Mark's gospel is the earliest gospel.
Don't the apostolic fathers all say Matthew wrote his Gospel first, and that afterwards Peter wrote down a Petrine account of the Gospel on the demand of the Roman people? No one cares what 'scholars' say (they date the Gospels after AD70 because it contains prophecy about the Temple being destroyed... very good unbiased scholarship). Also, secular and modernist 'scholarship' is riddled with logical fallacy. Did you know they claim Mark's Gospel is earliest because it is the shortest and most terse? That's what you're dealing with.
Considering that modern scholarship has caused us to abandon the older Latin Vulgate for the Masoretic text which was written centuries later, I doubt much of what they say. These are people who don't use their scholarship to build upon the foundation of Tradition, but instead attempt to destroy the past in order to make a name for themselves.
@@CatholicK5357 The Septuagint was written centuries later... is that a bad joke?
@@AveChristusRex Thank you for catching my mistake. I meant to say the Masoretic Text was written centuries later. The Septuagint is more accurate than the Masoretic Text because it was translated from earlier Hebrew sources. Modern scholars rely on the later translated Masoretic Text and that is obviously going to cause issues with their scholarship. It seems likely that those who translated the Masoretic Text specifically translated poorly passages to do with Christ to make it seem like Jesus did not meet the mark. I made the correction in my previous comment so that I don't scandalize anyone with my error. Thanks again.
Saint Irenaeus, writing at the end of the SECOND CENTURY in Book III of his Against Heresies, writes that Matthew wrote first in Judea not many years after our Lord's Ascension. And all of the records we have from the Church Fathers who wrote during the Roman Empire, including Eusebius in his Church history and Saint Jerome, agree with this statement. Modern so called 'scholarship' regarding the Gospels is not to be trusted especially since it uniformly substitutes unfounded ideologically based opinion for actual historical evidence. There is zero evidence from the ancient world, or from anywhere besides the imagination of these so called 'scholars', that Mark wrote first.
st luke day 2021 someone called guy marle sent me a message which disappeared just now advising me to please show respect to our beloved pope/ pachamama bergoglio/ when i replied to him on cardinal burke has recovered website on which he did not post his message next to mine being a coward/ his message vanished from my mail account
I thought Mark's gospel was first
Luke stayed in Phillipi because he found Lydia attractive but then after their romance didn't work out he went back to Paul
Why are you telling people that Mathew was the first gospel? Mark was the first by quite some way. We know this. Mark was written round about 60-70 when the Romans sacked Jerusalem.
* Apologies, I just checked your channel description, I didn't release this was a Catholic show. Good luck with the show but this stuff isn't for me. May God help you✝️
Rome was the capital of the Roman Empire, that's why Saints Peter and Paul had to go there: Not because Rome was the seat of all power in The Church.

Apostolado Petrino. Pax Chrsiti! Would you do Fr. Typology the kindness of removing his name from the playlist on your channel. These are not so safe times to be caught on radar. Thank you
