Just wanted to say thanks so much for the videos of the Horizon...we are (hopefully) setting sail for the ABC islands 2 weeks from tomorrow. I am fighting cancer so praying all goes well...so far so good....but it and COVID have prevented us from cruising for over 3 years now...needless to say we are beyond excited. Miami port has changed frequently over the years so I REALLY appreciate your shots of the parking garage being right across the street as that solidifies our luggage drop off plans. First of all the two of you are amazing, and I would like to thank you for this video. March of 2020 was the last time that we sailed on the Horizon, our itinerary was changed on the first sea day (due to covid) and we flew in and out of Ft. Lauderdale. Our cruise is in October back on the Horizon, and our first-ever trip to Miami Airport. You two are the only ones that truly explained the ins and out's of the arrival at such a vast airport. We have a flight out of Boston at 11:25 in the morning and our friend's flight is at 2:30 pm. Thanks again for what we can do at the airport until their arrival. ARUBA here we come, also I just clicked the button.

We were on the Horizon in November! Such a great cruise. We enjoy waving to the folks in the condos as the ship departs. Loved this video

Details are everything, we will be on the Carnival Horizon for our first ever Carnival cruise for Christmas, I took notes. Thank you for the airport info.
We were on the Horizon for a B2B in August 2021. That was our second Vista class ship and we loved it. The cruise director was great. The staff is wonderful. Have a great cruise and we wish we could be there.
That was such an amazing cruise. It was so great meeting y’all on the ship. We love looking at all the boats docked/anchored near the cruise ship.

My wife and I are looking in the horizon for our girls first cruise. My wife and I cruised on there Mardi Gras in January. That ship was fun and beautiful. We are liking these ports , and we loved guy’s burgers. We eat there a lot , I’m just glad they have water slides for our girls. Thank you two so much for sharing your trip. Where thinking about driving to Miami and staying over night like you did . That’s we did in the Orlando airport.my wife and I stayed in the night before. Very nice.I just found you’re vedio.
We really loved this ship! And LOVED the Havana pool area!!
We sailed Horizon last month (2/19 8-day) and loved it!!! We had a Havana interior and pretty much chilled out all week back there.

My last cruise was on the Horizon March 2020. Right when covid hit. But I really liked the ship. I hope you have a great cruise. I have 6 more weeks till I’m on the Mardi Gras

I will be boarding the carnival horizon on May 8th and I'm very excited. This will be my second cruise and my wife's 5th. First time sailing out of Florida for both of us.

Everytime were going on a cruise i always weighed myself before and after😁 , going again this coming December for Carnival Horizon.
We're leaving tomorrow on Carnival Sunrise. Yay!
We absolutely love the Horizon, one of our favorite ships. Still love Port Canaveral for ease of getting in and around and from Atlanta its a pretty easy drive, about 8 hours.
Definitely one of our favorites too!!

Where looking at next fall like September. We loved 555 and guy’s restaurant’s. So much we went back twice. I just wish carnival had a Starbucks on board.is there a good place I can get coffee on board? Like strong coffee?? I went before on the Mardi Gras I think on deck 5 we’re guy’s pig restaurant was. That’s we’re I got my coffee. We had a sliding door in our balcony state room. Loved that room. Great vedio you two. You are asewome together.
Can’t wait to sail on Horizon in July 2024; until then we have Oasis in August and Celebration in October.

We sailed on the horizon in September for our anniversary and loved it!! We were in 9370 lol so close to where you guys are! When did you sail?? We just sailed the sunrise too on March 17th!

My wife and I sailed on the Mardi Gras in January, by our self’s. We loved that ship, we went there every and enjoyed almost every restaurant. Snd and we then we had there free alcohol packages
I will be watching this series closely. We are sailing the Horizon (maybe a B2B) in October.🐸 (looks like any OBC you have will go to repairs in you cabin😀)

Just started the video but since you are just arriving at the airport and are taking a taxi to the cruise terminal. Am I correct to assume you flew in the day of the cruise? Did you exit out of Door 5 arrivals to catch the taxi? Thanks!

Oh wonderful! We will have our ship tour of the Horizon coming out soon! We did this cruise back in Oct and just now having time to edit the videos.
I love Guys burgers too. But you could have asked for another serving of the salmon. We had a window seat on a recent cruise and it was nice. Until the curtain fell on my head (not heavy)...they couldn't figure out how to get it up but I had a clothespin in my crochet bag and we pinned it up for the night. :)

Take that long hall walk as soon as you get on the ship. lol Going in the wrong direction is a good thing! It gets the steps in and wakes you up too especially if it's late at night. frfr

What date was this cruise? I sailed Houzon over Halloween also. It's my favorite ship hands down. I've sailed her 9 times since end of September. Leaving on #10 on the 10th,
Oct 10, 2021 :) We REALLY liked this ship too and will definitely sail on her again!

Cruising on the Horizon in October. Arriving day before the cruise. I do not trust any airline to get me there in time the day of.
Doing research on my first cruise and you say you don’t recommend flying in on your cruise day, but is that what you did in this video? Or did you come in earlier and just travel back to the airport for purposes of showing transportation to the port?
Lol. Yes, we did fly in that morning! Our flight arrived in Miami at 6am (and we had a nonstop flight). But with all the flight delays and cancellations, I still don't recommend it. We normally fly in the day before and get a hotel which is what we are doing on our upcoming cruise to Alaska :)

I’m going on the Horizon in October, i can’t wait, I do have a question, I see you have an adjacent room , I hated my adjacent room when I was on the Magic it was the worse because I could hear my neighbors whole conversation, I will never do another adjacent room again in life , im excited about both of my cruises this yr
We could not hear people in the connecting room (unless we were sitting on the balcony and they had their balcony door open)

no there is not
Is it the same flat rate to get back to the airport from the cruise terminal?

That whole bags and key card outside of the room seems less than safe. I wonder if anyone has picked up anyone else’s luggage?
I would Not recommend taking a cruise now guys. Statistics show that at least 30% of the crew on most cruises will have Covid and at least 40 passengers will catch Covid on each cruise.

Oh, those idiotic masks.... they accomplish NOTHING! (0-10% effective) I assume you're on the 6 day Western Caribbean leg of the schedule. Hope you had a fabulous time! The Vista class ships are beautiful! We'll be on the 8 day leg of this schedule in May, with Aruba, Curacao and DR... so looking forward to it!
