it's been 3 years since my last visit to the lion nation. of course, there are several changes since the circuit breaker (singapore's mco) in 2020. you have shown all the famous landmarks including the marina bay sands, gardens by the bay, marina barrage and the kallang stadium complex. the tanjung pagar area has rapidly developed since my last stay at the duxton hotel in 2010 with the emergence of the oasia tower building and duxton pinnacle. i will surely visit my favourite country one day right after the opening of the new brown mrt line's (thomson-east coast) service all the way to gardens by the bay!
Went to Singapore a few times and their MRT is super efficient. Our Government should learn more on how Singapore's Government manage their country.

Why need to learn, just adopt meritocracy in the employment in government sector, let the best brains join the government service. Unlike currently it is bloated with inefficient, majority single race government servant who are mostly religious zealots goyang kaki tunggu gaji during end of the months.

Malaysia have much to offer, but we still lose to Singapore….The loses not from the people (Singapore kiasu more worst…) but…..you know, you know….
Malaysia only offers corruption and nepotism and bourgeois politics...meritocracy has no place in the country, race, religion and politics prevails over everything...that is why there is alot of brain drain in the country. Mind you, the economic progress of Singapore was built by many talented Malaysians who was being ignored and systematically marginalised by the Malaysian government due to different religion and skin colour.
Singapore has reached its limit. Malaysia wins in long term.
All races compete equally in all sectors, fully clean government and very strong currency… all these 3 major areas that Malaysia 🇲🇾 will never ever win Singapore 🇸🇬! Just to be fair!

Lol mana boleh compare Jakarta, Manila, Ho Chi Minh city dan Bangkok dengan Singapore. Their citiess are so much more chaotic and poorly planned, Singapore is quite literally the most developed in this corner of the region.

Singapore should return back to Malaysia before it's too late. Now, Singapore still has strong economy. There are still good reasons for Malaysia to accept Singapore as a part of Malaysia. Sooner or later, in the future when the world becomes more chaos and does not need Singapore's service anymore, Singapore economy will collapse.
As much as id like to see a fully truly united Malaysia (+Brunei and Singapore), they have not much reasons to join the federation unless we really improve our country. We need to organise ourselves and forge an economy stronger for it to be attarctive. And also spend more money on developing our less built up states instead of spending money on "world class" skyscrappers and structures.
We will see M collapsed before S, do not worry too much….

Singapore should return to be a part of Malaysia. That's the only way Singapore can survive in the future when the world is no longer in peace time. Without hinterland, Singapore can't survive on its own when globalisation stops.

@@tc238 nope. This is fact. Singapore's development is contributed greatly by service sector which is not sustainable. There will be time when other countries do not need to use Singapore's service anymore. Then you will see the name "Singapore" disappears like it has never existed in the world.
Returning back to Malaysia is good for both countries. With Singapore's money, Malaysia will progress substantially in technology, economy. While Singapore will have more space for urban development. With only more than 700sq km, Singapore has reached its limit.
