I think it's really important to have a video about chewing greens and oxalate reduction. That point hasn't been touched up on before and seeing everyone have so many health issues in regards to smoothies - it only makes sense to help out to save the world from more health issues! I definitely would watch that video.
With regard to gluten-free grains, I used to LOVE eating a lot of brown rice. But I have learned that rice these days from pretty much every source in the world, including organic rice - brown, white or wild, has a lot of problems with arsenic in it. I've read that some suggest cooking it in a lot more water than the usual ratio, and then pouring off a lot of that water to reduce the arsenic content. But I ended up exploring a lot of gluten-free whole grains like quinoa, buckwheat and oat groats, as well as some that do contain gluten like rye berries and a vast variety of wheat berries like einkorn, farro, etc... to the point I don't even eat rice at all anymore, and I don't really miss it, either since all these other grains have so much to offer in terms of taste and nutrition. I would rather completely sidestep the issue of arsenic so I quit eating the rice, but I wouldn't just stop eating rice without replacing it with other whole and healthy grains like the ones I listed.

Re: cooking greens for thyroid health - brassica vegetables, like kale, cabbage, broccoli, etc... contain compounds known as "goitrogens" which means they can disrupt normal thyroid function and ultimately contribute to goiters. They interfere with the body's ability to synthesize iodine properly, which is important in thyroid health. So, for those who may be hypothyroid, already struggling to make enough thyroid hormone, goitrogens can make this even worse. Fortunately, cooking these foods takes away the goitrogenic effects. We don't have to avoid these foods if we have thyroid issues, just cook the brassicas, since aside from the goitrogenic effect if eaten raw, they otherwise have so much good nutrition to offer. From what I have read, people who do NOT have thyroid issues don't need to worry about this so much and can more readily eat raw kale and other raw brassica foods.

However, I was under the impression that organic certified food was always glyphosate free, Am I mistaken?
