Thanks for the walk through. I've been enjoying your videos on various Tern Electric bicycles. I just bought the Tern HSD s+ which has this larger display. Didn't realize it could charge your phone. This was a very pleasant surprise. Should have my new bike by next weekend. Looking forward to some new adventures with my newly rescued beagle basset mix named Maximus. Safe biking to all!
A couple things you missed: When you reset trip time, trip distance, or average speed, it also resets the other two. You can also reset range. This one I learned from one of your videos! For example, if you live at the top of a hill, range will be low when you get home. Reset the range and it'll increase, since it will forget your recent climb and assume average consumption per mile. So there are 3 "flavors" of reset.
One addition I read on. Propel video recently is that if for some reason the Intuvia display doesn’t turn on you can do so by pressing the button on the side of the battery powerpack. You can also charge the Intuvia display by using that same micro USB port.
I have the ‘17 XDURO Full 7 S...love it! Bought it from Chris and team at Propel. If your near or on NYC Highly recommend getting the bike from Propel. Great sales and service team!
One correction: to enter the configuration mode you hold down Reset and i simultaneously, but to exit configuration you hold down Reset by itself. Otherwise it tends to jump back into configuration mode again, very frustrating! You have to fiddle with this every once in a while because the clock tends to run slow, losing maybe two or three minutes per month.
Thanks for this. Am about to purchase my 1sr ebike which will come with the Purina display. As we know, a fixed, non removable unit. Living where I do, I need the theft protection the Intuvia offers. Plus, clearly the Ituvia offers more. The upgrade will be worth the £20/£30 difference. Thanks again .
Thanks so much. I didn't know how to get into the configurations or that I could attached a GPS until I saw this video. The manual pdf didn't help me at all.
Thank you! It's not easy to find this information. About the USB charging port, does it keep your smartphone at the same level of charge while using a GPS app or does it recharge it to 100%?
I find this function pretty useless, and I have a cargo bike. Even with a filled bucket, it does a better job at hurting your shins with the pedals, then propelling you forward.
I’ve been looking through the manual for this thing but can’t see anything about dimming the screen brightness. Last night I cycled home and it was dark as hell. The display of this thing was the only thing I could see. I nearly wiped out into a tree a few times. Any ideas how to turn screen brightness down?
My 2015 model had the battery in the head unit die on it as well, but Bosch said that it IS NOT a coin battery, it's a rechargeable NiMH battery and they made me pay $130 for a whole new head unit. So your uncle is confused.
I had a software update on my Haibike with a Bosch motor and an Intuvia control. Since then, I'n not happy with the "Sport" mode as it seems almost exactly like "Tour". Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any help.
Hi, I recently bought a Kalkhoff endeavour advance 2018 ebike which has an Bosch performance CX motor. All the software and firmware is the latest (5.7.3.0/1.7.0.0/1.7.1.0) as displayed in the review. However when switching to "sport" mode, "eMTB" is not (briefly) displayed on the intuvia display. Any idea of reason why this is ?
I can see that the Intuvia offers more functions but I just wonder whether the Purion is more robust? How many times do bikes topple over? Would the Intuvia be more likely to break in an accidental topple over? What about rain? Will riding your bike in wet weather kill the Intuvia?
You can screw it onto the holder from the back of the mount. However, it is safer to remove the display and take it with you as this locks the bike's motor.
Dunno, but like many people I LOVE mine (Cube Touring Pro, which I think was replaced by the Kathmandu line). I've reduced my car use by maybe 80% since I got it.
Why can't this thing do proper math? If I ride with a 500ms wheel rotation time and a 2m130 circumference, instead of showing 15,3 km/h it shows 16,3 km/h. I set the wheel diameter to 2130 in setup, and used it on a self made pulse counter to compare side by side. Strange enough, the lap distance is identical, so that does get calculated the correct way. Somehow this piece of software junk from Bosch, ads a 6% bonus to the speed to make you feel faster.... These things are nasty, they only support properly to 23,5 km/h, if you try to go 25, you sweat your pants off.
*Very well made **Latest.Bike** , looks sporty and performance is awesome I love this machine! It also rides like a Cadillac So you'll love it to!*
Extremely useful. No manual about it when I bought my bike so have been using intuition but now I know the facts.

Great vid. I love my Townie Electra eGo with the Intuvia display. 2850 km on the unit and no problems.

Would be interesting to compare pros and cons in one video of all Bosch bicycle computers, including Cobi - also owned by Bosch.
I work at Trek and the 2017 + ebikes have walk assist. Just ask the service tech to enable it via the Bosch Software on our computers! :)
hello! And why is the button like a joystick, on the remote control which is on the left
Great video thank you .. I needed to reset clock and now I know how … cheers. Andy
Hopefully charge input has now been upgraded to usb type C.
Thanks for the good intro. Do you have videos for changing the battery, too?
00:34 maybe it is because many people want to check how far they travelled.
The battery is internal rechargeable in the display, it recharges only when bike is being charged with battery in bike.
Pretty cool vid, tell me, can you mount it off to the side? I've got a whole cockpit setup that sits in the middle. Thanks!
I can connect this in to a Raleigh Special IE 2019????
Hello for the walk buton you do not have to pres the + you have to hold the walk buton

Once i change the coin at the back .Will it show my speed and charge. Its not showing charge at the moment with the bike charging ?
How do you acces the service date? Thanx

Buy a bike light easy ☝️👌

Still waiting for the Velocifero MAD scooter review

My display isn’t allowing me to change speeds. Do you know how to fix?
Very clear. Thank you
Welcome 😊
Outstanding!
If you remove the display the bike is locked ?
Could you make a video with the E-MOJO Cougar
is this compatible with the Surface 604 Boar? and if it's not how does it compare to the Boar's interface?

Tough to charge a modern phone with 500 mA of current from the display port, but in an emergency it could help.
David Witkowski yeah I was thinking the same thing.
Guess I will still take my external batteries
please do you know how to reset the service time
thanks
How can you remove speed limit 25km/h? Many thanks
Yes, but you need to buy a kit called Speedbox. Speedbox 3.0 probably the best.
Hi is it possible from bosh perfomance line CX version to program it help speed up to 40 km/h like bosh perfomance line?
Change the wheel diameter...

My intuvia Display was stolen, I bought another of the same model and the bicycle does not recognize it. please help!!
It needs to be synced by the dealer to your motor. That is to make stealing of the bike harder.
Gredt video, very helpfull
There's no coin battery inside. It's powered by a small lithium ion battery pack. Which in turn, gets its power from the big battery on the bike.

Good info thanks
How do I lock this display so nobody can nick it?

thank you
super
No me detecta la pantalla.
I really need an e-bike
