i caved and got a filofax after seeing megan rhiannon's common placing in it. i thought i'd give it a crack and realised i want to move in here out of my bullet journal. i've never had a ring planner so your videos have been so helpful for me to see how my dream system is actually possible

Does anyone ever have problems with weight? I have a ton of ring personal size I've collected in the last 20 yrs. I've been using filofax, day timer, dayrunner, kikki k. I have to be highly functional, I hate happy planner, I thought strings were messy so I keep going back to ring. But in my purse with phone, 2 pair of glasses (sun and reading) my purse gets so heavy my back hurts. I was thinking maybe a soft cover. I've even tried canvas covers. Too heavy. Please suggest something. I don't even carry a whole year of weekly. I carry a year of months and several tabs. Thanks 👍

@@loisbeyer5336 filofax clipbook is the last heavy because it's not leather. You could also buy plastic rings instead of the metal and instead of the any covers use just plastic flyleaves on rings.

So first off, I am absolutely changing my nail polish to a green now! 😊 I bought a rings binder in 2021 and abandoned it in March when I discovered Hobonichi Weeks Spring Start. Seeing how you are staying organized in the rings is so inspiring and as my life starts going off the rails (some good things and some not so pleasant things) managing multiple books is just not in the cards for me. I love being on this journey with you! Congratulations on 90 days!

I love this video I found it while looking for Filofax videos. I recently found a Filofax at the thrift store and taken back to the 90s when I’d see my grandma use hers. I vividly remember she couldn’t remember anything unless it was written down in her Filofax! I use a passport TN and after seeing this video I definitely am going to test out the personal filofax! ❤

I was wondering if you would stay in passport. Lol I have moments where I think about using something else but it never lasts long lol I have also been using an all in one system and I lovvveee it. It is so freeing to have everything in one and not have to worry about what information is in what book. I love having everything at my fingertips. I downsized from using an a5 to an a6. And I bought the sterling ink commonplanner and notebook, cut it up and punched it to put in my planner and it’s planner peace. I’m also a lover of grid lol

Be interested to know if you get a pocket system and, if so, how you get on with it. Like you, I struggle with the portability/handbag issue so my Personal Filofax stays at home. I carry an A6 lined notebook but I've had to put in a list of all future appointments so I know if I'm available to book anything plus I have this week plus the next 3 weeks plans (appts & tasks). It is mostly working but wonder if it could be cleaner/better. Toying with getting a pocket Filo but worried about double updating, what to keep once and what to duplicate.
