I just watched the english translated version. I am so moved by how Texu Kim spoke with such respect and admiration in his careful dissection of the different aspects of Agust D's song. It amazed me, the thought and effort Agust D put into fusing his beloved culture with his love for hip hop.

컨텐츠가 참 좋네요 방탄이 너무 대중적으로알려져서 팬덤으로 뜬가수처럼 보이지만 사실은 음악도 잘만들고 좋은 음악들이많아서 거대한팬덤이 생긴거지요 슈가노래들은 진짜 층층이 음을쌓아간다는 생각이들어요

August D가 심혈을 기울여 만들었다고 알고는 있었지만 이분들의 컨텐츠를 보며 기존왕의 모습이 나올땐 대취타가 시장의 모습이 나올땐 꽹과리가 반역을 타악기와 중요부분은 저음의 피리가 쓰였군요 현대적인 것과 전통적인 것을 연결한 방법이 정말 절묘하네요 대취타 또 들으러 갑니다
미술관에 가이드가 있는이유.... 확실히 뭔가를 알고 들으니 더 재미있고 신기하네요!!

I hope Yoongi has seen this reaction as it just reinforces what we all already know he is a genius that creates amazing music.

what an insightful reaction. ARMY always says "oh i hope BTS sees this" or "you missed this detail", but I truly hope that somhow this video could make it to Suga. The reaction managed to be one based not on emotional attachment or personal tastes, but solely about the execution of the music; technical but never pedantic. I enjoyed how Dr. Kim could appreciate all these different layers of production, sound design, & composition, and be able to glean themes & motifs from it. Fascinating.
Analyzed down to how AugustD says certain consonants and their meaning. This was very in depth and really shows that there was nothing incidental about this song

I've watched analysis/reaction of daechwita from a hip hop/producer sight to contemporary composers and those that are in the field of korean traditional music. It's nice to know their thoughts and see their perspective on this song and to gain more knowledge botb about music and culture. I really think that yoongi did a great job on the contrast that he was aiming for on this song. And his mixtape is just really one of the best releases this year. Happy to be a fan of his music

I think the composer perfectly said Suga's intentioned. Suga have said before that the reason he choose Daechwita as the title because he thought it would be fun just like what the composer said.
