I can attest to your regret of getting rid of classic RCs. Im 61 now and I had all the classic Tamiya releases from the 70s and 80s. I had the Bruiser, Sand Scortcher, Ford 150, Grasshopper, Hornet and a bunch of others. Never in my wildest dreams would I think they would be worth anything. I gave a few away to the kids in the neighborhood when I moved out. I been retired for awhile now and I been collecting the reissues plus getting some Axial, Losi, and Arrma large scale stuff. Im a kid again.
I love hearing the history of the RC life people have had! Many sound very similar and I think all of them are relatable to where many of us have gotten in and out of the hobby throughout life and we always seem to drift back to it. I do really like the look of the studio and I really like the TV playing one of your other videos in the background! I need to get a Top Force for my collection, I know they are top notch cars! Thanks for the shout out! 😁
Thanks Addam! The video tended to ramble on too long but I figure people can use the chapters to skip around. I saw a new EVO sealed in box on FB marketplace for $350 recently
You had some really nice Tamiya cars Ryan! I really love that Astute! What a looker! Looked like a serious player! Your black Blitzer beetle, the Aqroshot , and of course the infamous lunchbox are among my favorites of your compiled collection of Tamiyas. I really would of loved to have any of them😝! I really love the extra length of vinyl brick and the black cover over your table really looks fantastic. Excellent touch man! I love it! Very nice Video brother! Thanks for sharing my friend!
@@RDsRCReviews I have been asked that several times but I really don't like making videos so I have never shown them. Some are in boxes and others are on shelves in my rc room. Maybe one day since you don't live that far, I might be able to show you.
I tossed all my old RC stuff about 14 years ago after my dad passed away and we were cleaning his house out. Original Blackfoot, qd midnight pumpkin, rc10 gold pan chassis, Shinsei 57 Chevy, mrp miss Budweiser my brother gave me, some Nikko stuff, tons of parts. Sucks wish I would’ve never done that
@@RDsRCReviews at that point we just had my daughter, and I was into motorcycles and muscle cars. Didn’t think any of that old “junk” was gonna be worth anything, or that I’d ever be into the hobby again. Now in just over a year back in the hobby we’ve got almost 70 cars. Where did they all come from?? I dunno 🤷♂️ or at least that’s what I tell my wife lol 😂

Yeah it sucks. A lot of it was related to marriage and falling out of the hobby at the time
The studio is looking great Ryan. Tamiya has such a great history with RC cars.
Thanks Marcus! The main reason I made this video was to see how the studio looked
Great video on your past and present Tamiya collection over the years Ryan, thanks for sharing 👍🍻
Thanks Dave! It was less than ideal because I don't have the 4 older cars. I hope the video wasn't too long

Love the look of the studio! Great history of cars there.
Thanks Freddy! Your input means a lot!

Thanks so much for all your input and comments Robby! You are the best!
The studio looks good and I like your collection, past and present Ryan. I have all of my rcs from 2013 to now.
I wish I had kept those older cars. I know you have quite an extensive rc collection. You should share it sometime. I'm glad the studio looks good
