I was wearing True Match yesterday and thinking about that and Maybelline Fit Me (both L’Oréal owned brands) and how the ethos of both lines is having lots of shades. It feels like a vestige of a less-inclusive time, when these companies were like “we have the absolute bare minimum for (allegedly) everybody!” If consumers wanted long-wear, luminosity, anti-aging, high coverage, whatever, those were in separate lines that didn’t feature the full shade range-and still often don’t. If these brands had treated True Match or Fit me as an initiative where they committed to having inclusive shade ranges across all lines and then used their in-store shelf space to expand the lineups that have specific attributes rather than having a separate lineup just for its ample shade range, it could’ve pushed the market in a better direction faster. Or maybe I’m overthinking it. Loving your series!
It is truly a beautiful foundation, one of my favorite. We are foundation Twins so I would recommend you getting shade 7w. That is the shade I get and it fits me perfectly. Happy holidays.
Omg, i was looking someone with your skin tone. My auntie is latina and i can't find someone in the hispano-sparakers community doing this review with her skin tone. She trust me buying her makeup, bit i wasn't sure about the tone match for her because we have very different skin tones. Tnks for this review.
Gurl im the same skin tone as you and i use the 4d 4w and thats a perfect match for me. Its probably 1 shade lighther than me but in a warm yellowish way so i literally look glowing.
You've sold me on this one! The only complexion product I've tried from L'Oreal is the Infallible powder foundation that you reviewed about a year ago. You sold me on that one too lol!

I loved this foundation but for some reason it always gave me pimples. So I tried it again about 1 yr later (bought it again) & it broke me out 😭 The Serum one does not though oddly enough 🙂

It looks better than the original to me. I liked the original but it felt a little heavy on me. This looks super soft and smooth.
