    How can we change the scake of vertical on the same drawing without having to use Excel or swdtm again.. Is there a way like stretch command or something. And if we find out the area in the scaled drawing should we divide by 100 from the area we got.

    • @civiler1439
      @civiler1439  Год назад +1

      I don't think you have any way to change scale only vertically of a drawing in AutoCAD ( But if you want to do it for a block, I believe you can do such thing).
      I am also not sure if the division would yield correct area measurements better to just replot with correct scale it doesn't take much time🙂

    • @civiler1439
      @civiler1439  2 года назад +1

      Please make sure the datas in excel are arranged in the order that Swdtm recognizes and make sure you have selected the correct range in excel cells. If it doesn't work even after that I am not sure about the problem.

    can we draw ls from coordinates without chaiange. I have cordinates and elevation in my exel data of the track but no chainage and the intervals are not uniform also.

      @@civiler1439 sir I have to put chainage in the ls drawing at regular intervals. But I don't have it done in my excel sheet. Only x y coordinates and elevation in my excel sheet or gps data. The profile is made easily through gps visualiser online. But I want to know how I can get the data in regular intervals of chainage with elevation either in Excel or autocad directly after the profile is drawn. I haven't drawn the profile in AutoCAD either since I don't know the chainage at regular intervals and their elevation. The gps visualiser elevation profile data only provides coordinates and elevation. And I don't even know if they're at regular intervals or not.

    I try to import an Excel file, it displays an 'invalid selection' error, even though I've selected the columns in Excel where the data is located. However, it's not working

    • @civiler1439
      @civiler1439  4 месяца назад

      Did you make sure to arrange the data in 3 columns and even though the third column is for remarks and can be left empty you need to select the third column too( you have to select exactly 3 columns I think thats how the application is programmed). Also make sure that you have your chainage in metres eg. 1200 instead of 1+200. Hope this helps 😊

      You can just put your chainage and level respectively and plot them it will work even for irregular intervals

    • @civiler1439

      Its very simple. In a column you insert your chainages in metres ( for example chainage 1+240 shall be entered as 1240) in the adjacent column insert the Reduced level of each chainages. Then just follow as done in video.

      The reduced level for this specific example was obtained using the total station and noted accordingly. If you are using auto-level you may need to do some computations to get them.

    • @civiler1439
      @civiler1439  Год назад

      The error occurs if you do not kept the excel format in order exactly as in the video as this softwel programme has its own algorithm to read the datas. So the datas must be arranged as I explained in my video. Hope it helps 🙂
