I believe if you enter the area command, then right click and pick a point inside closed area, or the closed poly line, it’ll default to area and you’ll get the s.f. read out. No need to pick all the vertices.
Many thanks for the tutorial! I am encountering a problem which I've noticed before - my "Insert Field" dialog doesn't look the way it does in the video. I don't get the columns with "Field Category", "Object Type" etc. I am using 2024 Autocad on a mac. Interested in any suggestions! cheers!
