I am very happy to know that we both share the same top three: 1) The Boy and the Heron 2) Nimona 3) Across the Spider-Verse Really hoping for a Best Animated Feature nominations for them.
Overtime I started to not like the songs overtime, except Welcome to Rosas that song actually works as an introduction to the world. Also the Kung fu Panda 4 repeat clip was literally me when I saw the trailer. The no fun argument part hit me cause I was hit with that hard when I said I wasn't big on the Mario movie. Great Video, will check out some of these movies.
Watched this video from beginning to end and I gotta say You really outdid yourself YINSED I think your video’s long run time is justified and you did keep me engaged. Even though I’ve only seen about half of these films so far. Each of your takes on these movies, I can either agree with; Or understand where they are coming from. I enjoy following your channel. And I look forward for what you have to other in the future.
Imo in ninja turtles the references didn't get on my nerves that much. While i definitely understand why they can, they went by quick and the kids energy added a lot to it. Also since i recently graduated from high school it reminded me of how my friends or other students(especially freshmen would talk to each other). Great ranking by the way glad to see some nimona love.
Great ranking: I like it when you focus on giving complete opinions, rather than just naming positions. On the suggestions, 2023 didn't have that many films, but I can try two: - Under The Boardwalk: impossible that you haven't heard of it, but you should see it. It's nothing exceptional, but it has a lot of heart. - Inspector Sun: a good detective film straight from Spain. Again, not a masterpiece (I think the best of the best are already on the list), but enjoyable. Oh, and I have to thank you for listing Monsters University as an example of a good sequel: I feel it's getting its due in recent years
THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING MONKEY KING lol. Every time I see it on Netflix I go “you see that guy? I hate that guy. Screw him.” I will admit, that one fight sequence at the beginning looked cool but the rest of the movie SUCKS
I wanna preface this by saying that I loved Nimona, and there were defo moments that made me tear up and cry. But my only upset about the film was the ending. It felt incredibly rushed and unsatisfying. I remember saying "is that it?" in the last few scenes. That for me destroyed how I felt about Nimona. It was especially crushing because I was beginning to feel for these characters and believe their relationships and banger. And its worse because this wonderful, and pure writing hasn't been seen in a while (especially with the crap Disney and co decide to release). It felt like they had built it up to nothing. Just to end with a short and imo, lazy conclusion. I js wished there was more to it yk?
You know the director of Migration also directed 2 French animated films called Ernest & Celestine and The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales which you should talk about on your channel soon.
Ummmm excuse me Mario movie mediocre?????!!!!! Boy you’re insane the movie was so heartwarming and it’ll always have a special place in my heart! However I do agree with you on ninoma and Spider-Man across the universe!!!!
As a Disney fan, I'm really disappointed by Wish's story and music. If it's true that they pulled their 2024 film to give ut more time to cook, I'm hopeful for 2025.
Someone made a video rewriting The Mario Movie and man am I jealous of the universe that got that movie. It treated the script like it's a first draft. When I watched Migration I kinda realized the main reason why Illumination movies aren't good. The Heron sequence was essentially just pointless to the movie. It did not drive the plot forward. The film lacked a strong first act and inciting incident. There were moments that could have been stronger but they didn't really play into that. They made Uncle Dan and Delroy a paring which was fun but they didn't other fun ones. I thought the kid characters were gonna bond a lot but they barely did. They don't really give the projects enough time. They do the first thing they came up with. They just use the first draft. The Mario Movie has a lot of similar issues. It doesn't play into specific character interactions and plot beats. And it lacks an emotional through line. The Mario movie was kinda disappointing.
Seriously man? Your aloud to enjoy the movie (and rate it) to as much extent as you like If you need other people to praise the movie exactly the same as you do. Then that’s your problem. And If wanna convince people that it’s underrated. You’ll have to do a lot better than just write angry comments.
I think that you having less films to talk about while this video is longer says more about last year's movies than anything

Cant wait to watch this!
So glad Nimona got the top spot. I wish more people realized how significant it is.
Me, too!
For anyone who doesn't have netflix, Nimona is, in it's entirety, on the netflix RUclips channel
38:33 I still can't believe MrBeast was in the movie and his cameo only lasted 5 seconds.
Do the Bowser video and I'll make A Samurai video
You’ve got a deal. 🤝
@@YINSED5192 I respect your opinion on Ruby Gillman teenage kraken

I mean considering the Wimpy Kid movies only get better, maybe the 4th one will be good.

My list is rather similar, though my no.1 is the Boy and the Herron. Big shock I know but it's too good.
I love Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken
As someone who has seen paw patrol 2, I must admit that it proves that animation is cinema
I respect your opinion on Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken. Please give this comment a ❤
Nimona is #1. I do not care about any other movie in this list because of it. Based placement.

Wait, where did you get the transition for Wish?
Just realized I forgot to put the link to it in the description. Should be up now.
@@YINSED5192 Hello? I respect your opinion on Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken?
40:00 Yeah interspecies relashinships are kind of disgusting.
Bowser best daddy video. . .do it
These opinions are just wrong
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is far higher than you ranked him! I mean that’s obvious!
