i agree, but why the 10 cent looking drive fenders on a million dollar looking ride?
@@hphggr9652 we knew that around here most likely it would be going to be a work truck on a farm, so we put minimizer fenders on it that can take more of a beating with their rubber mounted fender mounts. In this case we think nicer looking fenders would of actually detoured the type of buyer we were looking for with this truck.

we have another build already on the channel but yes we are continuing work on a few other projects as we speak. Fall harvest side tracked us a bit but we are trying to get back on track to posting at least 1 video a week hopefully more. Thank you for watching

Do you have to run an additional wire to all the dual revolution to make them flip from red/amber-blue? I’d like to do the same lights on my 379.
Yes you do have to run an extra wire for the dual function part of the light

When it comes to body work and paint its case by case depends on how busy we are building our own trucks to resell. right now we have 5 trucks of ours we are waiting to get in. but we will get people right in who purchase through our chrome shop

it all depends on how you sit in your truck. Most people that choose to sit on the floor with a low rider seat want the lower visor to block the sun lower on the windshield. If you drive with air in the seat they usually like a smaller visor so it does not block any vision.
Love that truck. Great starting point for a nice local runner with good looks to continue customizing.

guessing the previous owner since they were like that when we bought the truck. We have certain price points on each truck we want to stay close to but its always an option when someone buys a truck from us to have us add or change things on the truck after purchase. in this case 2 new tanks and labor to install would add around $3,000 to the total price on the truck. to some buyers thats important to others they would rather save the money so if the buyer feels they want different tanks that could of been arranged, but the person who bought this truck was just fine with how the tanks were so they saved the money.

Sir , please use amsoil engine oil,, it will run more million miles,,, amsoil is little expensive but it is worth to use for truck,, and thank me later

I’m sure that truck now is going for 120k the way the Market is marked up
at the time i believe we sold this truck for around $75k but yes now would need to be over $100k because people are getting $55K-$80K out of complete junk. so we are starting out with way overpriced bones to make it into a respectable truck. to be honest we are not making any more net money its just costing so much more to get the trucks.

yes sold 4 days after it went up for sale. we have another daycab done now also blue, with a fresh overhaul, 18 speed, ect.

First off, I'm the old owner of this truck, 1.2 million miles, and no, it was not abused. With the Pittsburgh Power Pak, that little C-12 Cat will stay right up with the 550 Cats on any hill. And lastly, I resent the old man comment, I'm not that damm old. Also, it was not an electrical fire, it was an arson fire, the joys of a pissy ex-wife.
we purchased this truck from vander haags so we never met the owner before it got to them. From what we could see and were told the fire looked to start under the bed there was wiring burned up in that spot and it looked to follow up a wire to the light to the top rear or the bunk. which could of happened just by getting hot due the fire and the wire conducting that heat. Either way on our end we just go by what we are told by who we buy the truck from in this case it was vander haags they got it in and we do a lot of business with them and we made a deal.
Literally in the same sentence says it was never abused but with the power pak it would keep up with the big cats on any hill lolololol

it is, we used to just rebuild customer trucks but had issues with customers taste for cool out reaching their pocket book and not being able to get paid in full. so we switched gears and started building our own trucks and selling them. that way we are paid in full and there is less issues. thanks for watching

yeah the small engine kills it for some but this truck sold to a farmer 4 days after completion so worked well for what he is using it for
@@McDonaldChromeShop we had c12 in 1 of out trucks had good power but didnt last long. Old timers told me cat was trying to pump to much hp out of small block.. then we got a truck with 6nz and never looked back
They have the idea but still far away from a clean job. Frame looks bad and fuels tanks not good plus too many small details And the worse fender ever .
What you have stated would be true if it wasnt for the fact we pointed out each flaw and addressed the reasons why we went these ways with things such as the tanks, fenders and frame. all the reasons were to keep the retail price down on this truck for practical use. This was NOT a show truck it was built to be a work truck with a price tag of mid $40k range. Truck sold in 4 days after video posted explaining everything. This truck was sold to a farmer and as far as i know has been very happy with the truck.
