Wonderful to see what an effort is being put into reproducing the Beatles' rhythm section. The individual parts couldn't be simpler, which means the energy of the song lies in the vocal and harmonies. The blending of John, Paul and George's voices was unique and incomparable. Listen to " This Boy, " as an example of their three part harmony. As a musician, I have always thought that all four of them, taken individually, were competent but not extraordinary players. The magic manifested itself when their voices and instruments were combined. Then, they became... The Beatles.
Your work ia a pure joy and brings an itimacy of beatles magic closer than the records do. I'm grateful .for the records of course and I love tje Beatles but the visuals here and the clarity in sound just brings me closer to them..I can.of course hear the vocals in my mind..and it all just fits perfectly!. ..if that makes any sense lads. Thank you for the amazing musical journey and analysts and long may you continue!
W.D. Stevens - yes early on Paul commonly used “5ths” Some good examples include, but are not limited to: All I’ve gotta do And I love her If I fell I want to hold your hand
He was a guitar player turned bassist, so my guess is he wanted to incoporate spme of that to his bass playing seeing as the bass and guitar's notes have the same layout.
Oh yeah I'll tell you something I think you'll understand When I say that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand Oh please say to me You'll let me be your man And please say to me You'll let me hold your hand Now let me hold your hand I wanna hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide Yeah, you got that something I think you'll understand When I say that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide Yeah you, got that something I think you'll understand When I feel that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand
"I Want to Hold Your Hand" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles. Written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and recorded on 17 October 1963, it was the first Beatles record to be made using four-track ... Released: 29 November 1963 (UK); 26 December 1963 (US) Recorded: 17 October 1963 🎸🥁🎤
Ably House I have enjoyed all of your videos and there's a few songs I'd be eager to hear from all of you: With a Little Help From My Friends, Yer Blues, I Want You (She's So Heavy), Baby's In Black, Dig A Pony, Don't Let Me Down, Long Long Long, Child Of Nature, Getting Better... okay so that ended up being more than a few! But I would appreciate any of those, you have already done so many songs I don't see other channels take on and do it to perfection. Cheers!
There is one small part that was missed. It's a single note played by George at 1:52 in the original version. It sounds like a faint tire squeal. It's so fast most people don't realize it's there, but it is. Great job on the recreation, love it!
Interesting, I listened to the isolated George track and didn't hear anything new. Just the three bends on the G string at fret 5 and the fourth note on the 3rd fret. Didn't hear and tire squeal sounds. Could be something from another track
Thank you and that's great you have your own covers! Ask your friends if they want to jam on your channel. I was doing the videos on my own and showed them to Brendan and Neil. They thought it was cool and we all knew the videos would be better if they performed their parts. Neil offered to take over the mixing at some point, which gave me more time to make the videos look a bit nicer
Oh, komm, doch. Komm zu mir. Du nimmst mir den Verstand. Oh, komm, doch. Komm zu mir. Komm, gib mir deine Hand. Komm, gib mir deine Hand. Komm, gib mir deine Hand. Oh, du bist so schön. Those drums sound really good... I would not notice the difference if I did not know. You really have the early Ringo down... the wild almost-closed hi-hat sound. I have the Rock Band stems and have been playing your cover against the isolated vocal track and it sounds really nice.
thanks, yeah it can be tougher than it seems to play the hi hats like ringo, i am still learning every day. The sound of the actual hi hat cymbals and how they sound open, play a big role as well.
I've heard this claim before. What I heard was George Martin got John's guitar tone so thick by layering Hammond organ over his part, including playing the 5th to the 6th rock&roll rhythm. There are 4 tracks of isolated tracks and I do not hear it on any of those four tracks personally
Did you change keys to avoid copyright infringement, or did The Beatles shoot for a key and hope they got there when they played stadiums? :-o Oh wait! You're in the key of the remaster I'm here because tonight I was looking again for un-remastered audio CDs of Beatles studio albums. When tonight's order is shipped I'll have five. Don't get me wrong, I love what you guys are doing; and I love the richness of remastered Beatles. But I'm an old guy, and ... you know. Actually, I don't know if I've ever heard the un-remastered studio recording from October 1963
Do you guys describe anywhere how you mix down from tracking software in computer through what looked like a tascam 8 track cassette mixer board then to final reel to reel 2 track? Mostly interested in first step from computer to cassette mixer? Hardware used/needed? How do you separate the tracks with a single output of computer?
R Dave - we described it a bit in our How To Record Like The Beatles video. We used the Steinburg UR44 which gives you 4 inputs and 4 outputs that are separate from the Steinburg stereo outputs (so technically you can get 6 outputs) To further clarify, in Logic with the steinburg, you can set each individual tracks' output from the default stereo outputs and set each track to the outputs you want. For example, guitars 1 and 2 can both be sent together through output 3 or something. Drums and hand claps through 2, etc. we had 4 outputs running into an analog mixer which then runs to a 2-track tascam. We have a 2-track, 4-track, and an 8-track. They're old and tough to work with at times
I love that little shake of the hand the bassist does
Just like how Paul would do it
Yea
that lick on the guitar at 0:10 is my favourite of all beatles songs
You mean the bent in the guitar which is George's part or the bass part
Sounds so different with out vocals
set the playback speed to 2 and it sounds like mario kart music lol
underrated comment
Star Wars Kid Omg it does
Omg It really does!
Hah
I can see it lol

Love Harrison's leads in this song. Subtle but they add so much
I really don’t think you can’t get any more perfect than that.
I Love your videos and look Exactly like them when you play
This sounds exactly like the record
Apart from the bad bending
Your right it does aspechley that Gibson paul
no it doesnt
Yep
The bending at the the beginning is different 😬
expertly recorded and played and a very important and useful guide for musicians everywhere
Spot on. The last chord just sounds classic
Neil even did the McCartney moves!
I love George's Guitar in this song. It sounds surf-like and country.
10,000 bonus points for including the hand claps!
😂😂😂😂
I love the finish on that Hofner
These guys are doing an excellent job.
Just amazing! Although John's Rickenbacker is more prominent in the original. I really enjoy watching and listening to these videos.
Beatles live forever
El cuarteto de Liverpool son unos genios para la posteridad gracias por existir!
The rick and gretsch work so well together as a combo

Huh, is Paul playing chords on the bass? I wouldn't have expected that kinda stuff this early on or was a fairly common thing to do at the time?
W.D. Stevens - yes early on Paul commonly used “5ths”
Some good examples include, but are not limited to:
All I’ve gotta do
And I love her
If I fell
I want to hold your hand
@@neilcandeloramusic Also octaves like the end of All My Loving

@@neilcandeloramusic also a Day In The Life the C chord before the 1st verse "I read the news.."
Neil Candelora , don’t forget “I’ll be back”
Absolutely fantastic
Amazing cover performance...it looks exactly like The Beatles
Oh yeah I'll tell you something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
Oh please say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide
Yeah, you got that something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide
Yeah you, got that something
I think you'll understand
When I feel that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
i liked the sound of tobacco pack on drums
0:44 reminds me of Big Bang Theory
@Anthony Robinson Oran-u-tans erm...I mean the Donald is still trying to build that wall.
Funny how Oran-u-tans sounds like orange tans...lol
Maybe on 1.25
As you can see BASS dominates
This is amazing! Sounds exactly like Beatles record single! :D

Just discovered this channel... Great stuff, subbed.
Man, it's sweet!!
Man.. the rhythm guitar in most of the The beatles songs is harder than Lead
Turned it up!
Great!
Fabulous fantastic awesome
Nailed it!
Can you guys do a cover of Get back or Help! Please
The Camels on the drum head give the music that little "je ne sais quoi".
Very nice. The only thing that didn't sound quite right was the second rhythm guitar chord in the bridge where they sing "touch you I feel".
Graças a vocês eu posso imaginar q to tocando bateria certo kkkkkk valeu
Please add one with singing
So glad found you

I'm sure that Ringo plays drums as I saw the way he hits hihat

Do you plan on getting a 1964 rickenbacker 325 Miami version
👍👍👍👍👍 😁😁😁😁😁
He got the beatles very right , that he even played bass left handed just like paul
Waoooooo👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That whammy bar is old on johns part
but, john doesn't use the rickenbacker on this song, he uses the gibson j160e.

Long Tall Sally The Beatles
Out of all the songs of the Beatles that are underrated, this one is an EXCEPTION.
Evan because it’s not a beatles song, and the original little richard version is better.
He is both right handed and left handed?
I want IN MY LIFE
I'm convinced that's just paul playing
