Could you do a series of videos explaining your personal tips on each common houseplant you have? I’ve been looking for some but I find you way of explaining most helpful! ❤️❤️❤️
You can cut those 2 long stems on the angel wing begonia and stick them in water and they will grow roots almost as easy as a pothos will. Then the plant will send out tons of the growth from the base
@@wildfern I used to kill them too until I learned, being trees, they are an outdoor plant! They're lots of fun to watch grow and shape them in different ways.
Nice plant tour. The pitcher plant likes to stay wet. Like big wet and humidity. I spray mine at least once but usually twice a day. It will not like clay pots because they suck up moisture. I have mine in sphagnum moss.
Hi,I am a first time viewer in your channel.. so many wonderful plants around you really impressed me..i loved and enjoyed them..hope to get more videos..with love from India
I'm a little late to the shin dig but the brief glimpse of your "Hail Seitan" embroidery hanging made me laugh out loud. Also, hey fellow vegan plant mom nurse from the CRD! Your channel is the reason why my recycling wont be getting sorted today, but my plant babes will sure be looking fly!
You should try putting your monsteras and your Pilea near an east facing window...I live in Washington and they do really really well there. Since they don’t like direct light but the morning light that comes through is perfectly gentle
In the window next to your heart leaf philo is a lemon lime dracaena. The good luck bamboo is also a dracaena, but I pretty sure that is the lemon lime
wildfern Oh I’m so sorry. I thought you were here in the US else I would not have teased you that way 😞. This was the first time I watched one of your videos and I loved it! I’ll be back for more 🌿
i think the difference between pearls and jade and njoy is that pearls has speckled white/green patterns while njoy has just solid white/green patterns
I kind of think that first random succulent is a Hearts of A Million (I think that's the name) Dischidia, which is a sister plant to Hoya. Also known as the ant plant because of its symbiotic relationship to ants. At least....I think. And if so, HOW COOL! Dischidia are badass.
I think the pitcher plant would want more humidity and maybe a hanging pot since the pitchers hang down . Then somebody said they were going to get rid of their humidifier, oh no
What helped me a lot from trying to save the rooting system of my plants is using a heating mat, my plants keep reviving with it 💚 good luck!! Try to see if that could help recover your plant from Seattle, it might just need some TLC
Are humidity levels exeedingly high where you live? "Flaming Sword" that's my gov name, seriously. I'm def subscribing btw 🍄🍁🌵 (Just got back from my unk's botanical garden + herbarium and I'm currently searching as much about Botany as I can cos I've never been more passionate about anything🌲🌳🌴)
Beautiful! Your big marble queen is gorgeous! I have a question. How did your regal shields do with the light you put over it? Did it continue to produce large leaves or did it revert to smaller leaves?
It’s only put out small leaves over the winter! And lost quite a few. But overall it’s still doing fine :) pretty soon I will have to rearrange everyone once the days get longer and brighter again
@@wildfern that damn winter lol jk thank you for replying. I was curious because I just bought the cords you linked in that video. I'll be using bulbs I got at Costco. We shall see. Thank you again. 😊
I would say that you saved the best for last (dracaena) although they were all very much enjoyable Fern! I tried my luck with a bonsai several years ago and unfortunately it met the same fate ... I would love to have kept him alive forever since an old Japanese bonsai-master actually helped get him started 🥀
I hope I have my dracaena long enough to see it grow big and tall! So cool to see old ones. And yep haha bonsais are not in my realm of expertise, that’s for sure. Thanks for watching 😊
Hi Fern! omg I LOVE YOUR NAME! I just screamed that at you lololol, Thanks for the tour..Everything is beautiful! Even the struggling. Yes I love them that much LOL except for my Calathea that who hates me, my Medallion doesn't look anything like yours! lol The day I brought her home she was gorg! But consistently went down hill from then on, now she looks like someone kicked her ass lmbo … So this is what's up...go on Etsy to CaliforniaTropicals , I just ordered a 4" mican for like 22 bucks, they have a bigger variety for around 40, so check it out. IDK how nice or not nice their plants are yet because it's my first order and it won't be sent out until Monday and I live near Chicago but im sure everything will be fine, they have a thousand sales and 5 star review so im confident. Ok hun let us know if you get one. I know I am obsessed with them so I am super excited!! Thanks again for inviting us into your home, it's lovely and BTW The Pacific Northwest has always been on my bucket list of places to go before I kick it. This is so long you probably don't even have time to read it! lol later gater...lol
Awe hahah thank you!! I am in Canada so we don’t have nearly as many Etsy sellers etc :( that’s so awesome!! Can’t wait until my baby Micans cutting grows haha. Thanks for watching 🥰
@@wildfern Oh I'm sorry I didn't know our Etsys were different, duh.... ok lol well of course your cutting will grow big and strong, I surly didn't mean to imply she wasn't worthy lol, she definitely is. Thanks again ;)
I'm curious about the String of Hearts in the north-facing window. I've been wanting one, but my only windows are north-facing. Any tips for me? After seeing yours, I feel like I can grow it!
How do you care for your rabbit foot fern? I'm in Oregon and every winter mine basically dies and then struggles its way through spring and summer :( Beautiful plants though!
The difference between Pearl's & Jade and NJoy is Njoy doesnt have the speckling that Pearl's & Jade has, the whites are solid. Last thing, I SWEAR. The second variety of Scindapsus is an Exotica. The Silvery Ann has extremely silver edges/ends, but much smaller leaves.
I guess people are calling them 'dude' to be more politically correct, so I'm just going with that haha! I really should just call it a Tradescantia though to be proper.
"never really thriving, but never really dying" perfectly describes me tbh.
Campbell Roberts 😂😂😂😅

Intersting , you are professional

It’s fascinating to see how many plants you have gotten rid of ever since you made this video ! Very interesting to follow your plant journey 🤍
Yes so true! My collection has changed a lot. Can’t wait to film an updated plant tour 😊
Pearls and jade is kind of like a marble queen crossed with N’joy. In Australia, we call the N’joy a snow queen
First time seeing your video and I had to pause at 2:40...that Regal Shield Alocasia are freaking kidding me!! It’s is soooo S T U N N I N G ! !
I struggle with the rubber plant toooo😩😩😩. BTW your spider plant in the dining room is massive 👌🏽. Beautiful collection!!
Thank you!! 😊

Fun plants!
Great hair color here for ya! Looks great
Thank you! Cheers!
And that mounted staghorn looks awesome! Well done! I have two that I want to mount!
Thank you so much!!
I moved from Portland to Dallas and have to restart my plant collection. Your plants are all so beautiful!
Awe good luck!! And thank you x
I love all your house plants! My cats make it hard to have plants in the house. My obsession lately has been Bonsai trees. I'm up to about 20 of them.
Holy crap! I can't keep a bonsai alive hahah.

Wow your so knowledgeable with the plant names I literally googled some of them and your spot on, GOALS I can hardly remember my plants name lol
Hahah thank you 🥰
Gabriella Plants has beautiful Micans 4 in pots for 19.50. The one I received already has trailing vines. Soooo beautiful 🌿🥰

Just an FYI- bonsai is not a type of plant. It's actually an art form! Any plant can be bonsai :) Can't wait to learn more from you on your instagram!
Ahhh cool, that makes more sense - thanks!!
I live in Vancouver. Where did you get your regal shield? :D
Omg no! I remember when you got that plant from Seattle 😔
Right!!! Omg so sad lol but the cuttings are rooting now thank god!

May I know how often need to water the dragon tree? Mine is growing very slowly.
It depends on your home, but I water about once a week.
Nice collection 🥰
How do you get your ginseng so healthy?? 😢 mine has a couple of leaves left.
Beautiful collection you have.💚💚💚💚💚👍
Liliya Marchuk thank you!!!
Where did you get the black shelf in the dining room? ^_^
At 'Canadian Tire' - I think you can find them at a bunch of hardware/homeware stores :)

I have a zzz plants by my living room window is it okay there?
Where did you get your black ZZ????
In September a girl on FB bought a large one and took it all apart and sold the pieces lol - got two stems for $20 but one died hahah RIP
Do you have your monstera staked?
Kind of lol, it's not a very strong stake so it doesn't really do much.
Hey great video!
Where’d you find your dief. Reflector? I’ve been looking for one, I’m in Oregon
Awe I just happened to come across one at a local nursery here in Canada!
@@wildfern So close yet so far! I'm sure I'll find one eventually.

Great plant tour,💞💕
Thank you!! :)
@@wildfern your welcome, good luck 🍀 with the rhaspadoria tetrasperma,I hope it makes it. ⭐

How do you propegate the string of dolphins? Mine is diying

How long should i wait to plant a pothos cutting in soil
