    LOVED the tour! I just got a 2002 Casita 16 and I'm in need of storage ideas and ways to make it personal without making it feel hectic -- you've done that so well, and I appreciate the inspiration!

    Cool ideas for flip flops storage and bread storage. I’m gonna steal your idea of where you keep your cutting board! One comment about the upper cabinet with the soup cans: Watch out for too much weight up there. If the rivets fail, you might face a small disaster! Great job on the video!

      Thanks. I realized that I didn’t really need 4 plates, cups, bowls etc when it’s just me and I wash them after every use. If I have company then paper plates it is! The rest was fairly easy to eliminate…if I haven’t used it in 6 months it’s gotta go. I have a lot of open spaces and I’m really learning to like it that way :-)

      I'm curious how you got the extra space where that shelf is sitting on with the junk drawer?

    • @TinyTexanAdventures

      It’s a Zinus 8” twin mattress :-)

    • @TinyTexanAdventures
      @TinyTexanAdventures  Год назад +2

      The space is made for full size bed, so with the twin mattress there is just enough room left to put the drawer cabinet 🗄️ :-)

    Do the carpeted walls hold odors? dampness? Seems a bit odd finish to me. Cozy space and nicely decorated. Glad you enjoy.

    • @TinyTexanAdventures
      @TinyTexanAdventures  Год назад +3

      I’ve lived in mine 3 1/2 years and haven’t noticed it holding any odors. As far as dampness no, but when I’m staying in more humid environments I use a cheap little dehumidifier:-). The carpet actually works great for insulating against heat, cold, and sound. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️

    • @TinyTexanAdventures
      @TinyTexanAdventures  2 года назад +1

      lol. I use the microwave a lot 🤣. I eat sandwiches and easy heat meals. I do cook out some so burgers, chicken, hot dogs. When I do cook meals like spaghetti, enchiladas, etc I make a big batch and then freeze and have meals to eat on for a while since it’s just me. :-). I CAN cook I just don’t like to very often 🤣. Plus I do like to try some of the local restaurants occasionally to see what the little towns are all about :-)

    Hi ... New to the channel ... Live in MN. Will be purchasing a Casita this Winter/spring. Was wondering, What do you do for Internet working inside the Casita? As would like to head South for 4-8 weeks when I get mine and work from my Casita :) Nice job on Vids!! Bob

    • @TinyTexanAdventures
      @TinyTexanAdventures  Год назад +1

      Hi Bob, thanks for tuning in from MN. :-). Currently I am just relying on a cell phone hot spot or public Wi-Fi spots, which is not working well for me. I’m researching a few options (maybe Starlink) but haven’t committed yet. I’ll review it when I decide :-). Glad you’ll be joining the Casita family and I hope you’ll enjoy yours as much as I do!

      I have a Nissan Pathfinder. I never drive over 65 but ranges as low as 11 in the mountains and as high as 16mpg on very flat treks.
