Say what you want about MAD and their fanbase, by my god imagine how much worse the LEC would have been if they were as bad as everyone thought they would be. Not just from a competitive standpoint but mostly from an entertainment perspective, outside of MAD, this was an overwhelmingly uninspiring split.
Yes. That Mad made it that far is a matter of disappointing teams tho. A really bad played series by FNC, a weird ending with BDS. I still like that they are way better than expected and especially Myrwn and Alvaro look really promising. But realistically they should have been like 4th/5th place. Am interested to see how they are gonna develop over the year.

Hey, I love this years MAD roster, they somehow look way more convincing than last year, I just wish KC, FNC and Heretics didnt shit the bed as hard as they did, cause then we´d have a fucking league at our hands and wouldnt need to hope for the 4 rookie team to shake it up
But I hope this gives other teams more motivation to look among the ERLs for new players, rather than trying the NA-Cope strat of buying every promising asian they can find

KP means nothing as a standalone stat - Jankos pathed for bot every game, had 3rd highest KP in the league, just 3% lower than Kaiser, just means almost all heretics kills came through team fights and jungle-initiated bot dives which isn't surprising giving their weak side top Udyr proxy playstyle
@@johnkirk1772 10% lower is actually a lot. This also means that kaiser himself initiated a lot. And his overall stats weren't bad either. Perkz was the weak link for sure.
@@MK-il5vc ah ok stats are only regular season..regular season + playoffs the difference is only 3% between jungle and support - Perkz certainly was the weak link.. they could only play through bot hence the inflated kp

Wasnt really a fan of mdk at the beginning but I actually respect mdk a lot for giving 4 eu rookies a chance instead of importing random lpl/lck players. Even tho i expected fnc to win i‘m kinda glad mdk won because fnc is kinda cringe with their korean bot. They sure showed the lck import teams what‘s up. Respect
Kaiser made one of the best split of his career or you could say he was "just very good". I dont understand the logic of a team that recruit a guy for his specific player profile (yes we want to believe that teams dont randomly pick available player lol), this guy overcomes expectations and still get benched, it must be more about politic then but still, what the positive outcome of this for the structure? Its not like they sell some perkz/wunder jersey is it?
why we dont have the same format as the LPL and the LCK? is it cause people wouldnt attend to the matches during the week or what? cause i think is the best format for the audience and for the players, they wiill play almost double the games in most cases.

When Zeri is good every single game is based around her. And bot lane becomes just a game of ping pong where the teams just pass around the waves. The games are slow and decided with 1 teamfight. Teams try to feed or shutdown Zeri.
And Guma is more than fine with Zeri, when he plays her he plays well he just doesn’t play her often because T1 don’t play vegetarian bot lanes. They are an early game team.
