I will say jerad, I'm very impressed by this video. You go through the knives quick so it's easy to stay engaged. Along with the preview of the knife without your hands works well. Keep this up!
I have one and can say its worth having, got it for 10% off at wmk when it first came out so i didnt pay full but its a GREAT knife, new favorite kizer
I just wish the Kizers with the clutch locks came in cool colors as well micarta options. I know on a down and dirty work knife it's not necessary but when I rotate my edc blades I like to change colors and whatnot.
Great looking knives overall, hopefully they release a Penguin plus in say 14C28N in the future that would be awesome. Really like what Hogue is putting out there great quality and price for USA made. Was really considering the Escort but I think I'll wait abit and see if the price drops some as I'm in no rush. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Gday Big Dog, I have the K320 aluminum its the best all round knife I own. The G10 under the pocket clip is a pocket killer. I love this knife so much Im guna buy a 2nd one, the aluminum handle with the wood inlays is next on my list. Go out and get ya sen one you wont put her down. The build, the finish, the action, the look yep, yep, yep!!! All the best from Western Australia the place where the Sahara Desert buys its sand from!!
F5.5 is great it's a knife that I have 2 of both micarta I wish I had a titanium version and the giantmouse ace jutland I just ordered one don't have it yet but if it's anything like my ace grand I'm going to love it great video man
I have the late model grayed out Scorpion.... and it is just incredible! At first the only thing that bothered me was when in the pocket the jimping alone the spine kinda bothered me. But I got past it quickly. It is suck a beast and incredibly good looking!
I love the TPK jigged titanium version of the penguin. It's lighter than the original liner lock. For the Penguin Plus, i don't like the flipper tab and i wish they had a more budget liner lock option instead of just the premium frame lock versions. 154CM and some micarta options would be sweet in that size. I also wish Kizer would do some micarta options with their new clutch lock.
Hey does anyone know where to get those diamond sharpening plates he uses? Got to say I love have a sharp blade wherever I go! Does he have a store or affiliate link?
Escort worth the extra 60ish dollars over the drop bear?Been really thinking bout the drop bear, cormorant in titanium and 20cv or Escort if I want to spend the 180
This just in: Jerad doesn't like the nipple. 😁 Sweet list, I think the mini Penguin is just what I've been looking for in a small knife. But of course if I get that I'd have to spring for the while lineup, can't go around breaking up the family 😂
i hate it but i'm done with kizer. i've bought three knives and every one of them has an issue with the blade steel. one i can't get one to take an edge, n690. another dulls as quick as 8cr cutting stuff, 10v. last is the worst, it dulls after 4 good cuts through cardboard, the edge won't even last through the day before it's so dull there's no point in trying to use it, 154cm. i've had all three for while sharpened at least 6 times for the lowest amount. they're warranty isn't great i can't even send the newest one to them, and there's just no point in buying a 4th when there's companies i know making stuff i can count on for the same money or less.
I'm sorry your having so many issues, I have a lot of questions about your Sharpening and I'm not trying to say your doing a bad job, but I have a lot of Kizer knives and haven't had that many issues, I've had some with issues here and there but I've had a lot so it makes sense to get a lemon here and there. They will usually just replace it through the warranty department, if you want to return it you need to go through the company you bought it from. I feel bad your having so many issues
@@NeevesKnives if you're interested ask, i wouldn't take the time to be dishonest, kizer for the last two years has been one the few companies i thought was putting good stuff out. i don't recall much on the n690, just that i tried to sharpen it got done went to do a paper test and it was like i never removed the bur, i checked it under a microscope and the edge had microchips all the way down it. i tried to sharpen it again that day, same thing. the 10v is just soft i think, it's one the bladehq sheepdogs. looking around 10v is suppose preform like k390 i can promise it's not anywhere close k390, it horribly under preforms. the 154cm is a mojave outdoors towser, had wanted a towser for looonnnggg time and it's the one that broke me. went to use it out the box, lasted bit but developed a flat spot, thought it was me hitting something, so i didn't blame it. sharpened it takes a good enough edge but the edge always blows out. i just sharpened it yesterday tried using it again it's already got issues. the edge has flat spots and chips all the way down it. i can't do returns, i'm out beyond any of the return windows. i'm a mechanic, i've seen plenty of parts straight from the manufacturer be doa, knives are no different but it's the fact i'm stuck with them. i'll try emailing them but i dont have much hope.
The 1st knife isn't idea in the steels offered. I would not be happy with those in my collection. The geometry is also not idea for me, but in the right cutting tasks, it would be idea. But again not in these steels. 2nd knife I commented on that video with my thoughts. Overall its m390 so not something I want in my collection as its low value and wastes the steel. 3rd knife... More low value 20cv I wouldn't want in my collection. It looks like it could be decent, you obviously like it. Why do they ruin it by overcharging and putting a steel they dont know how to heat treat on it. 4th knife hogue is decently made knives at decent prices and made in USA. Especially in 154 and s30v. Too bad they suck at 20cv/m390 ht and the initial magnacut was just not that great but since improved it so they say. 5th knife kansept, ive not seen testing with them yet. My buddy has a model in 154 and its very slicey. Not a fan of s35vn unless heat treated well, I dont expect that from china. So I'd have to pass regardless of how nice it is. 6th knife must have agreed. 7th I'm not a fan of the company/brand from past history. Wouldn't ever get an Italian knife. Dunno how they ht the elmax, probably just whatever. 8th 160 for poor value 20cv/m390? Nope. Dont want that in my collection. I want something of value if I buy it. Its just a budget knife with budget steel acting like its premium on paper.
What! I didn't hide anything, if I dropped the knife the only thing that happened is I picked it up, you can still hear everything I try to put Broll in areas that fit what I'm saying or that is not visually appealing. I hide nothing
Just got my mini penguin; black and red. QSP knocked it out of the park. My first QSP and I absolutely love it.

Hogue k320Auto is amazing! My favorite button lock knife, the lock up is ROCK SOLID for a button lock!
The regular penguin for like $30 is THE best budget folder since the rat1!
Every knife on this list I am planning to get, I have the Hogue K320, and it is a very good work knife
Nice selection, thanks!
I was thinking the Escort was overpriced also.
Should probably have priced it at like $120-130 imo 🤔

Kizer Escort is the bomb mate. Cowabunga.!

I think there's some coming
Please make it black micarta with a black stone wash blade.
Kizer is pretty good, really loving my Deviant

Great review with lots of beauties! You’re providing a huge service to us knife freaks….thanks!
Thank you Robert
The Saakshi is a good knife. It is surprisingly close to the Elementum in terms of EDC footprint but is much more comfortable in use.
This is the way
That Kansept Convict has a very functional good looking pocket clip, if you get my drift.
Picked up the mini penguin just now🎉
There are so many awesome penguins, you could bankrupt trying to get them all!
F5.5 has been out a while. I have had mine for a year at least. Good, call. She handles larger than she is.

Oh, if only the Penguin Plus had a hollow grind! That would be so perfect!
I want the mini penguin, I have an og one, it’s the perfect size,

I need that XL Penguin. The Scorpion has been on my want list for a long time. Bestech is doing the OEM on everything now Mr. Neeves!
Thanks B that's what I thought but didn't want to be wrong
@@NeevesKnives no problem my dude
How do you remove the studs without messing them up?

I agree that the Kizer Escort is overpriced. For a little bit more I would choose the Kunwu X-Tao.

Nice selections. So We has a saakshe and a sencut sachse. These names. 😆
😆
Bang lol I jus released after 4 months glad be free and looking forward to catching up on the vids I missed
I recall tons of WWE while I was doing my penitence a decade ago. and lousy food.
It would be informative to state Country of Origin .
How is 154cm more premium than 20cv
