Okay-Mayada is great but next time hit up an actual Nashvillian for the best spots 🤪 Egg Hill is a $20 mediocre sandwich. Henrietta Red, sure! but there are spots that have been around longer and have better food! Also, Germantown is 100% gentrified at this point 😂 started 10 years ago.
I have lived here in Nashville since 2005 and have never been to any of these places. They're all new places most locals have never been to. They are mostly places established by expats and frequented by expats.
Urban Grub and most of 12th south are my favorite spots to eat, any of the hot chicken places are always fun, our fav has been big shakes. The old train station hotel and frist are fun stops. We haven’t really been interested in going way downtown in a while, but I get how tourists want to at least see that area. Nashville symphony is over there and super beautiful and sometimes you can but last minute tickets. I almost forgot, there’s lots of beautiful hikes and waterfalls within driving distance. Edwin Warner park in bellevue is gorgeous and easy to walk. I’d download AllTrails and check it out if you’re outdoorsy.
Nadeens in Hermitage for Bfast or lunch. Cafe Nona for dinner. small and great food. reservation might be good idea. Tenfold pizza and brew in Donelson. these are all local. what part of Nashville are you staying? so many great places to eat and not downtown.
@@ItsBAndBees ate at Edley’s Bbq yesterday and was so good! Still have yet to try the hot chicken. It’s been 2 days and we mostly just go to broadway for drinks at night. There’s so much more to explore! (2 more nights left)
@@tenndirtdog3680 mainly near broadway. I appreciate the reply! Since I don’t go out or drink, it is fun to get out of your comfort zone and enjoy time with friends. I’m still young and trying to enjoy the time I have before it’s gone.
@@tonyesq.8930 Nadeens has great Chicken n waffles Nashville hot or mild. not at all near Broadway but rarely a wait to sit. Bringels/Pegleg has awesome BBQ and offering. enjoy it all!
lived in nashville for almost 5 years literally never heard of any of these places. You really missed the mark here. And considering the high population of Hispanic people in nashville, saying that tourist taco truck is the most authentic is honestly insulting to the entire Nolensville rd Hispanic community. There are some spots where no one even speaks English. Missed the mark
Great video ! Thanks for sharing.🤠

8:30 lady straight up says they should come here because the area is becoming gentrified wtf ❓⁉️

Expat means from a different country lol I think you meant to use another word.

Heading to Nashville Friday for vacation! If any locals see this, any food suggestions?
