Interesting point. I agree that what happened to Brody did hurt your local promotion badly. Seemingly to the point that their attempt to include female wrestlers didn't do much to help recover. Can only imagine what could have been for Capital Sports (or WWC) if not for that stupid thing or had Invader I and anyone else involved gotten punished for what he had done. Perhaps Puerto Rico could've worked with the WWF/E through talent exchanges and/or maybe work together in WWF/E Puerto Rico shows. Could've helped the WWF/E stay relevant in the New Gen Era (adding more talent to the pool) as well as WWC even if it meant Colon being bought out by Vince.

I remember one time as Zeb Colter here in Amarillo...he came out, grabbed the mic, and told the crowd that when he drove into Amarillo, he thought he was in Mexico!😂 He got so much heat that night ..haha I'm Hispanic, but I thought it was hilarious!
As someone who grew up in Puerto Rico, I can vouch for how kayfabe involved the crowds were until the mid-90's. If you could work the crowd as a heel back then, you could easily incite a riot and get beat up on your way back to the locker room, especially if the heel was going against Carlos Colón. It's also well known how both Carlos and his partner Jovica where complete greedy, cheap assholes that would short change the local wrestlers and no-pay the people they brought in, except for a few guys they deemed essential like Stan Hansen or Abdullah.
Always figured it was Colon. Either way if not for that stupid thing Invader I did, the promotion might not have sunk so badly. Maybe the WWF/E could've worked with them for that matter considering that some of those people (possibly untapped talent) might've helped the New Gen Era stay solid, alongside a select amount of people from the Golden Era who should've been kept/stayed. Even if it meant Colon and such being bought out.
It’s a real loss that fans know so much about the business now because they think they can tell the promotion what to do and they do not really know what they want to see . A good booker educates the fans and coaxes them along . That’s hard to do now . Fans ruin it for themselves . It’s like learning how a magic trick is done . It will never entertain you again
Maybe they realized they shouldn't rip Kane off cause they look at him and realize he's a nearly seven foot Giant and who knows what he could do to us 😆.
Kane was a product of his time . A good big guy but people weren’t interested in him until he had a ridiculous gimmick . He made it work . I have him as number three on my list of guys who had stupid gimmicks but got over anyhow . Only Kamala and The Undertaker got over weaker gimmicks .
Tragically looking back, Glen (Kane) wasn't used right. Some of the storylines he was subjected to were just random. I thought he was cool then and I was a Taker fan through and through. For example they randomly gave him Tori as a valet. Imho, they should've made her like a "Yoko Ono" when it came to the Brothers of Destruction, with Taker warning Kane that she'd drop him eventually making Kane and her generate heat. Would've been better imho. Even better if she had better mic skills. Xpac should've came much later if he really had to be involved outside the lightweight division. Again just my take
Question for Dutch I recently came across a match in Puerto Rico between Dutch and Abdullah the Butcher and obviously Abby splits Dutch open with a punch with a fork. Did Abby actually make the cut or would Dutch blade himself?
Glen turning up to save Dutch gave me flashes of Kane’s flames exploding out of nowhere, while the heels run off terrified.

Yeah, but he also has the second longest career in WWE history too (Randy Orton only recently surpassed him)
