Wow what a challenge. Gave up yesterday but back at it today. That bloody wood grain is a killer. Thanks for stretching my brain.

Love this! If my mother-in-law were still alive, I would paint this for her. She was a quilter and I have some of her many thimbles. You and Mark are great! God bless you both!

You two have such a lovely rapport. I've been married 42 years this year and I feel my husband and I are similar. He has been so incredible, building me an art studio. I have a lot of buttons to put up as decor, so I would love to do something like this with buttons for my wall. I promise to share it with you. Thank you so much for all your amazing techniques and tips. I love your tutorials.

My folding space back in the day was the back of the couch. I would call the kids to get their laundry and if they didn’t put it away with some semblance of organization, I would dump their drawers on the bedroom floor for them to do again. Yes, I was a hard-a$$. The kids hated laundry day, but the are very organized some 25-30 years later. LOL Today it’s a different solitary as we are empty-nesters. I don’t mind washing and folding, it’s putting it away that is the challenge. Especially since most of the laundry is drip-dry. It can drop well beyond its drying time. LOL

So lovely. My mom was an amazing excellent seamstress. And she loved to paint. This makes me think of her.

Wow...this was so beautiful. Thank you so much for making time for us...to go into such detail. When I looked at the inside of that thimble...it just conjured up so many thoughts...of the times a finger had been in it & created. I'm sure I am not alone when letting you know...any time at all...when you wish you could put the brush down...& finish it in step 2...please do...don't hurt yourself...we will be back...anyways...just a big thanks...to the both of you
