What a great montage for a Newbie Fan of this Show! LOLOL I remember the first time I saw this and thinking, "Geez, can it get any worse for this young man?

I would also think Sam would think Leo probably wouldn't have a daughter who's about eight years old.

Well there’s that republican congressman whose young son who was made famous last week for making those faces while his dad spoke. The congressman is in his 60s I believe so it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility that Leo could have a young daughter. 😃

Pierre Elliot Trudeau had a daughter long after he retired as prime minister.

Well he is the deputy White House Communications director and counsellor to the president. Not the curator of the White House historical site. His job is in the administration, not facility management or the history of the building. There are people who are quite well informed about the house, the rooms, the furniture, gifts etc. They should have been brought in for that.

Always took issue with the Roosevelt room scene. Sam is always presented as a genius, there's no way he doesn't know some history of the White House, and absolutely no way what-so-ever he doesn't know who the 18th president was or which Roosevelt the room was named for. And no, don't give me "some geniuses have blind spots," that's not accurate to how Sam has been drawn. First episode though, and they were still catching their stride and flushing out characters and tone.

Just realize it was a meet cute for Sam and Mallory, that they tried to build to be a thing
