Great content! I really love the art piece, you gave me an idea of where I'll get mine too! Because expenses tend to fluctuate a lot depending on what you're doing that day, it would be interesting to see a monthly view of this "cost of living in Ghana" covering the essentials at least: electricity, groceries, petrol, etc. Please continue with the great work.
Thanks for giving us an idea about the cost of living in Ghana. It's pretty high let's hope that the economy will improve so that things will become more affordable
This patrol price is insane. It cost the same to fill the same car in los Angeles, which has one of the highest gas prices in the US, with a minimum wage of $16 an hour in LA, minimum wage in Ghana is $2 if not less. Like some folks say, the “math ain’t mathing”
love painting you purchased jasmine. that art centre looks familiar. believe our team visited there in 2015. if it's the same centre, locals had beautiful pieces and we purchased lots of beautiful art pieces.
Thank you for showing us a glimpse of how much it would cost in Ghana, minus the car gas, it seems pretty okay compared to what I pay in the states. Love the art centre
Ghana is cheap.. Accra isn't cheap. There's a difference. Aside the petrol which is fixed everywhere people can get everything you purchased relatively cheaper in other parts of the country. Accra folks literally overprice everything. You should try doing a day in a life video in other cities in the country; ie. Kumasi, Takoradi, Aburi,Cape Coast and so on and lets see how much you'll spend in a day relatively
Yes, ghana is not cheap, US is not cheap either, my gas here in the US is 65 on full tank and getting my nails done is thirty something and that’s just my toes and then I have to pay for my hands! Here in the US they went up on food too, but you find some cheap stuff, thank you Jasmine for sharing!❤️💯
The fuel is cheap compared to the Netherlands, where one would pay 128 dollars for 55 liters of the standard quality. And the premium quality would cost 139 usd. I would be content. Will visit this summer. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing your 2 days with us. This isn't really a regular day. It would have been great if you could give a line item cost of everything from when you leave your home for breakfast on the road until you return after dinner and night time entertainment. What's the cost of each? I didn't see you mention all costs. That's what I think of when I see someone listing out what it cost living single in Ghana. Any chance you'll do another video of a normal day in the life?
The cost of things in Ghana feels like only ever go up! Interested to learn more about how the pension contributions works. Lovely art work by Citizen Kwame. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
Can you explain the pension you set up. I have never heard of that in Africa unless you are a government worker /civil servant . How does it work ? At what age do they start paying out ?

Wow. I went to Ghana in 2006. The 1st time I went to an Art Centre, ppl kept grabbing/pulling me & in my personal space. I was like what the hell is this? I was very uncomfortable. I knew they weren't trying to hurt me or scare me. They just wanted me to see what they had. 1 guy was weird. He handed me something. I told him it was beautiful, but no thank you. He put his hands up, refused to take it & said I had to buy it. He wouldn't take it back. He said I was from the US & could afford it. After a minute I told him I'm not going to buy it. You either take it...or I'm throwing it & breaking it. He was pissed.

Fantastic expose. A few questions... How long does the gas purchased last for your everyday runnings; and why the need to hide your licence plates? What nefarious things can people do with this knowledge?
@@JasmineAmaa Ah ... Gas goes fairly decent. I get that there's no need for it to be online... But want to understand what kind of information can be garnered from it in Ghana. I recall when many people here in the States used to hide it when posting on RUclips... but see less of this now. Fair also if you stand by the general want to keep it private as mentioned.
