- Ep 251 | South Bay Holiday Park Brixham | Weekly Vlog | 2 Sept (2022)
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Sat 27th August
We are still at our caravan at South Bay Holiday Park in Brixham. I persuade Glenn to take a walk along the South West Coast Path to the Guard House Cafe. We get lost on the way back but have a great walk. Debbie arrives and it is great to see her.
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Sun 28th August
I start the day with a 6-mile walk and then head to Broadsands Beach with Deb and Glenn for breakfast.
We then head into Torquay for a stroll around the harbour. We take an open-top bus tour and although Debbie wasn’t sure, we had a great time.
We then headed to Cockington and enjoyed looking at the beautiful thatched cottages and strolling around the shops. In the evening we headed into Brixham and enjoyed a meal at the Prince William restaurant.
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Mon 29th August
It’s a Bank Holiday and we take the car ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth. We have a good look around and Debbie falls in love with the place.
Glenn and Debbie head back to Northampton.
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Tues 30th August
After an invigorating walk into Brixham, I settle down to work all day. Glenn goes to work and then fits the exhaust on my Smart Car, which then sounds like a racing car.
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Wed 31st August
It’s Glenn’s last day at work and he is looking forward to returning back to the caravan with his mum for the weekend.
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Thur 1st September
I chat to Paul and Maine for our Meaningful Midweek Conversation and Glenn picks up his mum and brings her to the caravan
Video Diary | Daily Vlog | Fri 2nd September
We take Glenn’s mum on the Steam train from Paignton to Kingswear and then on the ferry to Dartmouth.

Brixham is my home but I live in the Middle East now . I come back every year to just go Brixham I just sit in the harbor and just sit their watching the scenery
You ate your cream tea correct for Devon, cream then jam, Cornish cream tea jam then cream. I always put my jam first then cream on top regardless.
So girl after your marathon you need to reward yourself as that will be monumental goal. i love seeing Brixham
It’s so nice you have vacation home, time away from cooking….time by the sea. Summer tourism there is as crazy as Disneyland here. 😎
Cornwall scones are always jam first and cream on top……enjoyed your weekly update. Thanks you x
Another lovely journey with you all!! TFS
your caravan is such a blessing
bless you for all our ferry rides, canal trips and car rides. Plus yaking us to pubs and family part fun. i grew up in big family and love family parties full of kids, food and fun.
Now Lisa and Glen as you know I'm an Ex Pat from Devon living in Canada but our last house was just over the river Tamar in Cornwall. My wife and I had this same discussion and we were having a cream Tea with some Cornish friends .My wife said we are not going to have any arguments...caused quite a giggle over the Cream Tea I'll serve it London style so we had the Jam and Cream side by side...caused quite a giggle all round....she is very diplomatic. Great vlog Lisa , thank you take care.
Fabulous as uusal love going on your journeys take care one and all xxxx
Thank you Lisa and Glen,,xx
Thankyou for the lovely video I always enjoy watching.cornwall is jam and cream on top. Devon is cream and jam on top.i am still catching up on the last episodes.xx 💞

Devon is beautiful. We caught a bus from Torbay to Paignton. Then a scenic steam train ride from Paighton to Kingsley and then a lovely tranquil ride on a ferry to Dartmouth.

he is a so keeper if he wants to wash windows !!
platter is gorgeous
Hello Glen and Lisa, as always loved your weekly vlog. What a beautiful place Devon is and I enjoyed going along with you on your sight seeing. It was wonderful that Glen's sis came to visit too!! I love the views on your walks! I usually watch it while I'm on the treadmill. So when you're going on your walks I pretend I'm walking with you. Living in eastern Washington we've been dealing with the heat but thankfully not too much smoke from fires. I just finished listening to your Thursday conversation also and enjoyed it also.
I envy you your seaside holiday Lisa. It looks absolutely amazing. Stay safe and healthy you two. All the best from Missouri.
Hi Lisa and Glenn, 🥰
Great video Lisa. Love them all
Loved your week! I’m not keen on walking past cows either Lisa! See you both next week!
That platter was so lovely Lisa.
you need these walks for your long marathon!! now. remember long kong ago even the rich ladies and men walked WALKED FROM TOWN TO TOWN. YOU CAN DO THIS TOO. TRY TO WORK UP TO 29 MILES IN ONE Long DAY WALK. AS YOUR MARATHON WILL BE. BUT FUN AND GREAT COMPANY AND MIND FOCUSED GROUP
Hello Lisa and Glen, I enjoyed your vlog. All that walking Lisa, you will get so toned. I had to laugh Glen when I heard the exhaust. At least the car works. Enjoy the rest of your week. 💚

Hi l hope your both well. I love watching your vlogs of brixham. It brings back memories of camping at Upton Manor Farm . I have done the train and few times and used to walk the coastal paths to berry head and mann sands . Question do you ever go to Trago Mills.
Lovely platter! Gorgeous holiday away. Makes me want to book a caravan holiday. Hugs
tea is very good for you .rdp if bit of milk or cream in it. that thins the tannins
Hi Lisa & Glenn, Great holiday video. Loved seeing the places around Dartmouth. Awesome plate. Love Katelyn 💕💕🙋♀️🙋♀️
Lovely film. Are you going to get to Coleton Fishacre before you leave? Would love to see it filmed by you

This month im flying up from Florida (which i hate)..to maine .then train to NH
The Berry Head lighthouse is the tallest (from sea level) and the smallest (in actual height) in Great Britain. P.S Devon is cream on first.
you have walked 10 miles so far !!! 5 miles is 10,000 steps.. sooo 20,000 is 10 MILES !!!!
6 mes is good. 10,000 steps minimun of 5 miles..so go for 15--20 miles
carry carrots or apples for cows
cows are just curious. they like humans unless they have been abused by owners. bulls will chase. but girls not .And cows love music. if they chase you. a clue owner is abusive to them
