Could you guys please do a recap episode of the Tour of the Basque Country after the final stage, because I’d really like to hear your thoughts on the first head to head between Roglic and Pogacar of the season and I think it will be a really exciting race
I think the whole Peloton should chuck a water bottle to fans, in the next race within the first K of live racing and lets see what the UCI does, and if that doesn't get the message, they can all put their forearms on the top bars for 1k of time.
Brian Holm Said that Asgreen during a pre-race meeting had said “im faster than you think, even if it comes to the finishline in a bunch sprint” i dont think you should underestimate his ability to sprint. Go watch the stage in tour of California from a few years ago. Not that it was a pure sprint. But the boy can kick.
MvdP's legs didn't "give out". - He gave up, because Asgreen flicked the gear lever as he came alongside him in the sprint, and the click made MvdP realise he had lost.
Mvdp is skipping Amstel because he is switching to MTB now. His first race is on 9 May and he wants to take a break before then. I enjoy the show but it seems like you guys hardly ever read any newspapers...
the foam inserts for the clincher tyres are about 30grs each so pretty much negligible but i believe Quickstep were running tubed clinchers which wouldnt use these Vittoria 'cushcores''
Hey Lance, There’s been another race win on clinchers. In 1997, little known Frenchman, Frédéric Guesdon of the France de Jeux Team, won Paris-Roubiax on clinchers. He outsprinted Belgium strongmen, Eddy Planckaert and 3 time winner, Johan Museeuw. Guesdon had added help and won under the keen guidance from his team director, 2 time winner, Marc Madiot.
Make that Jo Planckaert. This was Jo's finest moment on the bike. He didn't have the talent of his uncle Eddy who had been retired for quite some time in 1997
He guys. I know Johann said quickstep was on tubeless, but I keep reading that the Roval wheels they were on are not tubeless compatible and that they were using the turbo cotton latex tubes. ?????

Great race! Annemiek's big attack on the last climb and riding solo 15s in front for 14km, brilliant! Ten years after she won her first! Legend. (In her late 30s as well!)

Wow. Missed this channel. Gold stuff. As well as this year's De Ronde was pure gold. Only I miss is some more words on Antoïne Turgis. Really looked forward seeing him in P-R. And OK, easy with hindsight, but I called Kasper Asgreen when MvdP took the easy but risky route up Paterberg and certainly when MvdP chose lower gear for the sprint. If MvdP felt fatigue/cramps coming the gear ratio chosen was fine, but he started the sprint way too early. Should have waited for the last 150-175 meters, but think he was afraid Asgreen coming.
Guys, is it plausible that MvdP got his gear selection wrong in those final 200 metres? Seemed that Asgreen was pushing a much bigger gear and got the jump. Or was it simply that his legs had gone?
Quickstep was on Clinchers, not Tubeless, i'ts not the same. Clinchers it's not with the foam inside, this is Tubeless. Clinchers it's with an inner tube. Still love you guys :P
