I want to buy one of these so bad and try it, but it looks like it would be hard to work with all the small pieces. How long does it take to make one, on the average?
Just take your time when you build it, also the manual book instructions are easy to understand. When I build this booknook it takes around 8 hours in total, I kinda speed run it hehee. In average maybe around 8-12 hours?
They're definitely worth it! I had no previous experience in building these things and I built this one a couple of months ago. It's so cute, it took me about 4-6 hours between two days. The pieces are a little bit delicate but that was my only problem with building. I broke two of the small pieces and had to glue them back together and then be extra careful putting them together.
I wish you could have showed the wire ring part. I’m stuck in the part where you have to put the sticky tabs on it but I can’t for the life of me figure it out. Do I separate the black and red and put the tabs on one of each? Or do I merge the back and red together and use one tab
I'm so sorry for not filming that part🥺 As for the wiring, you have to separate the red and black cables. do not combine them Combine all the light cable first(according to the color) in one knot, and then connect them with the battery cable and use sticky pads (black tape) on the connection between the light and the battery cable. So the cable will be secure and doesnt loose 😁 I hope this help!
I just brought this one and I don’t know what I did wrong with the wires it does turn on a little but then it shuts off I don’t know if is the batteries or what can anyone help me
I think it's the wire. Mine doesn't turn on at all at first, but after several tries, it finally worked! so what I did, I tried to combine the light wires into one unit, then connect them with the wire from the battery box. And also make sure to seperate the black and red wire! 😁
I forgot how much fun I had doing these. I still have a few kits. Thanks for the inspiration. 👍
