    Eddie didn’t play from printed music, but he could read it. He and Alex both took classical piano lessons as kids.

      @marpsr Eddie could not read Music! They had to reinvent How to write the cords Eddie was doing SInce Eddie couldn't read He had to Guess it was all right. Eddie was Blessed with Great Ears.       There is a photo in Alex's book brother showing Eddie with his mother holding sheet music. Alex writes that Eddie couldn't read it.

    Did not know this. I remember when Black Sabbath toured with Van Halen in 1978.

      I saw them in Chicago . I was unaware of Van Halen at the time but omg they burned their music in my brain

    Now that’s a bit ridiculous ! I love Tony but there are many amazing and impressive players across genres
