A couple of suggestions... 1) cut the chicken breasts in half, so as to make the baked chicken into small, bit-sized pieces... 2) increase the potato portion to allow for putting a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the casserole dish first, then the chicken layer, then finally a layer of potatoes on top... with that said, possibly baking the first layer of potatoes until they just begin to turn brown, allowing them to cool a bit, then adding the chicken/final potato layer, then baking, would allow for a slight crispy bottom, and give this recipe more of a "frittata", or a baked pie type of serving... what do you think?
under the video, there's a box that says "Show more" at the bottom. If you click on "show more", it will open the recipe. I copied it and it allowed me to print the recipe.
This looks and sounds tasty, but I am not sure I could make it according to your directions as you say to use the same amount of seasoning on the potatoes as on the chicken. Does that mean the exact same measurements? You mention onion powder for the chicken but it is not in the ingredients. Could you add the amount? Thanks.
Just what is the quantity attached to your expression 'a little bit'. I do prefer a printed recipe - a good adjusting point for third or half servings - or, adjusting seasonings if needed.
Thanks for making this recipe so easy to find. I just tapped on the title and it took me right to your step by step video. I'm anxious to try this recipe, it looks delicious.
I did not care for this because it completely over cooks the chicken but most people overcook anyway. I also would recommend more spices. The flavor was a bit dull.
Seems odd that you took a portion out of the baking dish but put it immediately back in, and did not plate it. I suspect this dish is extremely soupy and does not bake up firm. I will not try it.
When baked right, the dish is great. Chicken is moist and cooks at the same time with the potatoes. I bake at 375 convection, but if you don’t have convection, set the temperature to 400 f. I have more footage that shows how creamy it is on my tiktok. I hope this helps
I don't think do. There's not that much liquid in there and it would be absorbed by the potatoes. And cheese. It's like scalloped potatoes so should be a little juicy.
Thank you , so much!, for giving use the recipe all written out for us to gather the ingredients with such ease!

How can I find a written recipe?
Could I used regular milk?
No it won’t work as well except if you made a bechamel sauce: butter, flour mixed together then add the milk and cook until it boils and thickens
Where is the recipe? There was no "description box below" that I could find.
If you’re on your phone please press on the title and you’ll see the description box

I just added the preparation method to the description box. I hope it will be helpful. Check it out and thank you for your feedback 🙏🏻
@@daintybite Thanks this is helpful. Let you know how it turns out.
i would mix all the milk, cheese and seasoning together and just split it between the two layers.
This looks great, I have the list of ingredients, but how is it prepared?
The recipe is fully detailed in the video
Why do people put video recipes online and not give you a printable recipe? I see it all the time. I want to be able to print this out.
@@daintybite That is not true. Some of her statements were add a 'lot' of..... That is not a recipe or instructions.
@@dicaron1948 the exact measurement are in the description box below the video. I hope this helps.
Where is the recipe found?
All the ingredients are in the description box below
@@daintybite I still do not find the recipe
When do you add the butter to the recipe??? It's not in the written instructions and can't see it on the video......
At minute 3:06 you add the butter to the sliced potatoes
How long in the oven and at what temp???
375 f for 30 minutes. It might take longer depending on your oven. Potatoes and chicken should be tender

I meant what I said.

I made this but it ended up super runny. It was yummy but super runny. I will cut the whipping cream in 1/2 next time.

This does not look soupy at all. Maybe odd she didn't plate, but it was not really even dripping when she pulled out portion. I think it looks delish.
