I did eliminate fiber and carbohydrates out of my diet for about two years. And found that soluble fiber like inulin was the only thing I could add back in without getting severe OCD/manic behaviour. Insoluble fibers creates a intolerable amount of stress in my body, mental confusion, anger, and inability to multitask. Without the insoluble fiber, I’m completely docile and able to juggle many things at the office simultaneously with absolutely no stress. Sugar, even a couple grams gives me similar symptoms.
Thank you for sharing!
Can I please get in touch with you. I’m struggling with my autistic kid.
Hi! I just found your channel, and am so grateful I did! My son just turned 5 and is nonverbal. I feel like I've gone down the whole rabbit hole over and over of researching. We tried the Nemechek Protocol consistently for a year with very little change in our sweet boy.
One of the supplements he was taking was Inulin, and we started out with very tiny doses (as instructed) and it didn't matter how small the dose, the Inulin caused VERY hyper, eratic behavior, and he would yell constantly which he had never done previously.
I made the mistake of recently buying a multivitamin for him, and for a week- the SAME behavior popped up! I finally looked at the label on the back of the multivitamin, and in very fine print, it stated it had traces of Inulin...🤔
I found your video of the 5 basic supplements you recommend, so I think we're going to give that a go! Sorry for the VERY long message, and I appreciate your videos!
A prebiotic like Sun Fiber is safe for most IBS people and people with gut issues.
Update pls
Thankyou so much! So informative for me for my son.
chicory root coffee has it
Hi. We started the Nemechek protocol on our son a week ago.
His stools have definitely gotten better, 2 big poops, instead of 3 to 4 small ones throughout the day. However he is probably bloated some having almost uncontrollable OCDs and property destruction. He takes 1/8 tsp of inulin, could it be at the root of his behaviors?
Thank you so much for uour videos.
Can you please talk about regression autism?
My 3.5 years was talking and this June he stopped communicating with words.
He made up a strange language and that is what he talks to himself all day.
He can repeat everything you ask him to and he level of comprehension is still the same.
Thanks for your comment. How hard that must be for you and for him. Let me see if I can fit that into the schedule. You can start by implementing some of the things from the videos already, particularly the diet-related changes.
Check videos about mthfr mutation 😊
I also have heard from doctors that inulin sometimes worsens the gut condition..what could be the reasons from the functional medicine point of view?I clearly understood when to go for it from the video though..
I see reactions to inulin if a child has SIBO. So if that’s the case, sometimes resolving that is necessary before restarting the inulin. Alternatively, there are prebiotics that don’t cause that reaction, such as the MegaPrebiotic powder from Microbiome Labs.
@@yourautismgameplan1637 You mean the reactions to it externally in the body or through behaviour. If we are not sure if it's SIBO,use of probiotics for some time prior to using inulin helps ? Or would you recommend antifungals even prior to it..Am looking for video specifically on AntiFungals/Antivirals.
@@awetism Both types of reactions - sometimes with bloating, belly symptoms, and sometimes with behavioral issues - many times it’s both. It can be to hard to tease out on your own what’s going on. If it is SIBO, I often find that traditional treatment you’ll find info about online aren’t going to be a long-term fix. Many times, supplementing Hcl/Betaine and/or improving intestinal motility is necessary. I talk about some of those in my yeast/candida videos.
@@NourishHouseCalls Thanks again...I really appreciate your prompt help through your replies and useful content of videos...I request you to do a video on how to help kids against intestinal abuse through antibiotics
I have IBS and take Sun Fiber. That helps and Acacia is fine for me. I may try inulin eventually in small, small amounts. What say you?
Hi.
Can we use both inulin & b12, zinc sypplements together
They are safe to use together.
@6:12 you state insulin not inulin.
Do you actually believe and act on all of the things you make vids on? I would imagine it would become difficult to function around all the other people you encounter but I'm curious how you manage it. No ill will intended ❤
For my kids, I do my best. Take supplements twice per day. And when I’m making the plan for patients, try to make it as simple as possible while still being effective. Of course, not everything I mention is going to be appropriate for all people, so there still is a lot of nuance in managing children with autism or similar symptoms, as there is with medical treatment of anything else.
She's a nurse practitioner. She has many clients with many different needs. Different solutions work for different kids because they have different issues. Certainly her own ASD kid wouldn't need everything because she doesn't have every single issue.
Is inulin good for speech delay and is there any side effects of inulin??
Have a look a this - yourautismgameplan.com/?s=Speech video.
your page is no longer available?
Another word salad without any actual information that you cannot find on google.🙄
You can try searching nemecheck protocol
That is a rather negative thing to say. What information would you like her to give you?
