Glad someone has finally addressed this annoying bug with the cyber truck, I played Fortnite every single day to get this car just for it to be pay to lose
@bastionrome9021 If they are a few of the quick weapons I can grab after a reboot and ppl are hitting us, I pick em up for the shield. Had to use them for quests too.
Something he didn't mention is that if you have a turret mounted on the cybertruck, it has a clear view of the truck bed, so if an opponent is back there, you can blast them from point blank with the turret. And the truck seems to be immune to the tow hook launcher probably due to another bug

I mean even the minor changes from one car skin to the next were a little strange, but something that completely changes your vehicle and how the seats behave and so on, and that being considered the same vehicle and affected by a skin seems absurd.
@@Saleh-vv4he i mean yeah, but it's mechanically a completely different vehicle. And getting different mechanics based off of skin shouldn't really be a thing. Imagine if a character skin affected your gameplay, like IDK if superman was able to fly, that would be wild, so kinda weird they do it for cars.

But so far I don’t find it game breaking like a superman skin would be if you could fly. The nerfs on cars were good and the EMPs make the people attached to cars lose all the time anyways.

If I gotta go with an example that's more on par with the truck it's like if a character could jump 5% higher while in brutal beachhead. Or if they got glider locked at a 3% lower altitude. Or if nitro splashes lasted 0.2 seconds longer. Extremely unlikely to make a difference, but still isn't right for a skin to give you that.
I haven't tested it extensively but if you drop the gloves before you turn the car into the cybertruck, the bug doesnt seen to happen, it seems to be if theyre on you when you make the initial transformation happen.
I work in Hollywood and Beverly Hills and have seen so many cyber trucks and not once have I ever seen one broken down. I swear it’s all the people who can’t actually afford one complain about them.
I want to get the cybertruck and just go around the map and turn every single four-seat wagon into a cybertruck while destroying all the two-seats. So people will have to drive it or walk.
Another Advantage/disadvantage is that in the cyber truck because of the angle of the windscreen it is much easier for the passenger to shoot the driver.
I would like to point out all the custom cosmetics keep resetting to default color options for the cybertruck when attempting to save a color preset for the vehicle, this happens for the superhero skins as well now when navigating the edit options menu for the cosmetics in the locker. This is likely a UI bug.
Imo, the custom vehicles in general are a mess for Fortnite. For over 6 years, they have been very adamant about avoiding ANY paid advantages in BR. Sure, some skins are visually larger than others, and some skins blend in to the environment better, but they all had the same exact hitbox, so there wasn't any in-game advantage on a technical level. Now they have all these different vehicles with clear differences in hitboxes and seat placement. The difference it makes is small, but they're completely breaking their own biggest rule.
Yeah this happened to me too I actually got in my cybertruck and it wouldnt stop driving just straight forward, I nearly died when it crashed into a building. Afterwards, I went home and jumped on fortnite and got that weird nitro fist glitch!
in a duo it's great, someone jumps in the car - at the back, as a passenger I can easier shoot them. for me it was an advantage when we played tonight...And this glitch you are talking about in the beginning with the fists, happened to me too. sooo annoying. had to leave the fists in the end.
Also, I've noticed the game tends to get stupidly glitchy towards the end of the season. So I'm expecting a ton of mantling problems and reload glitches. Thanks epic.
Aside from the issues with the truck in the game, I am personally unhappy with this collab given the politically charged angle of associating with this brand. If I see a player driving this truck I'm dropping everything and just zooming at that player. I wouldn't even mind temporarily teaming up with an opponent if we're targeting that player lol
I’m pretty sure there is t a vehicle mod for bulletproof windows? If so disregard this, but I tried shooting someone through the side window of a cybertruck and no bullets went through out of a whole clip
Anyone know how long it is until they get rid of these vehicles? Reload gets a bit rough sometimes when the matchmaking is really hard … but I absolutely hate this current season with the vehicles so never feel like dropping into normal BR to mix it up
😆 Get rid of vehicles? What are you talking about? Are you a wimp or what? I'm only asking. Fortnite will never get rid of vehicles. And I wouldn't be surprised if they kept the vehicle weapons attachments too. I think you just need to change the way you think about the vehicles, and just learn how to play the game and have fun, instead of complaining about things that you can't change. Other people actually like the vehicles. So Fortnite developers don't care that a few people don't like the vehicles.

Did the Quests because they exist. Cybertruck in game, kinda "interesting". But when it starts interfering with the C5S3 meta... will not use.
As a solo, minus the glitch, I personally like using the tesla to travel with. I never use my cars for killing.

There is another bug fyi where you will be frozen in place after driving it and switching to magnetos. you cant move or do anything
